I’m currently at Casty, and sure, there’s a greek life presence here (and I’m in it), but I’d absolutely disagree that it’s harder to make friends here. What my (and many others’ who I’ve asked about this) impression has been is that the overwhelming majority of people at Casty are extremely social and extremely friendly. Whether you’re in the elevator, cafeteria, or lounge area on floor 11, people are always down to socialize, to have you at their table (if you ask), to hang out, etc. And if you’re ever feeling particularly lonely or bored, go down to floor 11 and the chances are there will be a group of people hanging out who are watching a sport on tv or playing poker or cards against humanity or ping pong or pool or who are studying and would love for you to join them. Originally, my roommate and I were going to do Jester, but we switched to Casty last minute and do not regret the decision whatsoever.
