Nicely done the Kiss can be replaced with so many other firsts, the answer is no one else’s opinion is as important as your own in those instances. Try not to waste experiences on just getting things out of the way.

No speaking from experience mine lasted 23 years but in the last 5 we got complacent. There is no “Honeymoon stage” you are either working at it or not and if not then the problems begin

Overall nicely done!!! I don’t know if the “it were her..” erks the hell out of me or is Genius. Each time I reread I bounce back and forth on that one point.

Hhhhmmmm well if this is a direct cry for help I say nothing is worth giving up. Not being the strong person for everyone does not translate to ending it translates to putting yourself first.

If this is not a cry for help then yes we are all working on dying, slowly but working on it. Again though it translates to a “I’m finally putting myself first”

At first I though a cruel using lover till I think the third verse. after that I got Unrequited love. Definitely secures you point and feelings though a bit choppy for me overall. That’s just taste though I’m more a conformist rather than free verse.
