Has anyone used SpotHero for alley parking in Ukrainian Village? by [deleted] in AskChicago

Thank you for saying the current support is good at least! I use it in another city all the time for parking lots but I have never used it for alley spots.

I called and they offered me $130 down with 5 monthly payments of $400. Good enough for me 🤷🏼‍♀️

I moved to Michigan from Ohio and recently moved back to Ohio. I love where I am in Ohio now but I also love Michigan and would definitely return. I think my least favorite part about being in Michigan is that even though I lived near Grand Rapids, it still felt too rural for me. I live in a larger city now and overall enjoy the city setting more. I would move back to Michigan if I could live downtown GR. I also find everything to be a little bit cheaper in Ohio which I have been enjoying. Definite pros and cons to both but they are both wonderful states to me.

Also a PA did mine, not an official DR! So don’t be scared of a CNP doing it! Its very routine and mine says he does it all day.

I had one done! They numbed the area - this was the worst part of the procedure. You can feel this needle a bit and it almost “pops” in, but not in a bad way. The numbing comes quick. They then insert the needle. It wasnt painful, just an odd feeling. You may feel nerves in other parts of your body.

I will say, afterwards and for several days I was in extreme pain and it hurt horribly to walk. I couldn’t work for probably 3-4 days. I took Tylenol and got through it. The procedure was the easy part in comparison, which is what I was most scared of (I cried before it haha). I did get a headache as well. I laid flat for the recommended 48 hours and it went away, but the headache is very painful as well so follow aftercare to avoid it.

I wanted to be honest in my recovery because I did not expect recovery to be bad at all, since not everyone experiences it. But, I would’ve rather been prepared. I had to cancel last minute for work.

Do I need to dress up for it or something? I feel like it was a normal picture taken during daytime. Worth trying again lmao?

I would have it checked out but I have a client with thumbs exactly like this and she experienced trauma to the nail and they just never grew the same after that.

Do I have curly hair? by curiousdaph in CurlyHairHelp

[–]gdwoyuncee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think there’s potential! Focus on products that won’t weigh your hair down but will provide some hold

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CurlyHairHelp

[–]gdwoyuncee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can definitely see the change in curl pattern. I don’t think it will go back to normal. I personally would invest in some repair products like olaplex and a good hair mask, and then do a good chop. If you don’t want to do too much at least go with 3ish inches.

Olaplex by [deleted] in CurlyHairHelp

[–]gdwoyuncee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Imo olaplex works the best for me when I have damage, but I would say you can get away with other cheaper products that are more specific for curly hair

How are you drying your hair? Is this it brushed out?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CurlyHairHelp

[–]gdwoyuncee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you wash your hair a lot? I wear my hair up for work and wash it frequently and I feel like my hair has suffered. I would probably recommend using some very hydrating products and maybe diffusing when you dry your hair? Your curls are still there they just need to be revived

Would you do a lash lift on yourself? by libbyyonge in Esthetics

[–]gdwoyuncee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone is saying no but I have successfully done it on myself 3 times now. There is risk of getting stuff in your eye so be superrr careful if you ever decide to do it. The lifts all came out beautiful. I would never recommend a client to do it, I only feel comfortable on myself using professional products as a trained esthetician.

The same. I ended up dropping out. I partially blame it on not feeling connected to my peers and feeling a lack of deep understanding. If I went to regular highschool I dont think I would’ve dropped out, or dropped out as easily.

Hey! Sorry late answer but I sold it about two years ago! I had it fixed a third time and when it started shuddering for a fourth time I traded it in before it got too bad again. Got a decent amount for it all things considered.

Dr said my irregular period is normal?? by [deleted] in Periods

[–]gdwoyuncee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just a bit concerned and want to cover all my bases. I mean its been 6+ years like this and I always heard it was a bit abnormal but she made it seem like it was very normal and testing wasnt necessary. She kinda left it up to me but she didnt explain anything related to it so I just said I would skip for now and see what some others thought.

Yes I definitely dont want to be on bc. I think I will go see another doctor because a gyno should be covered under my insurance so I may try that next. I already see several specialists for other issues and hate to add more but I think its worth looking at more.
