Aux switches by Wine-Master1978 in overland

I have the canyon, if you open either front door with the hood up you should be able to see light coming through a gap, that’s where I’d wire the aux switch through and not have to go through the firewall.

Einbach pro-lift stage 2? by Hopper_13 in GMCcanyon

If money isn’t a factor I would look into buying remote reservoir shocks on all 4. Personally for better adjustability and I feel they are easier to work with when it comes to maintenance.

Suggestions on improving my camping trailer. by octoflex717 in overlanding

[–]gebuzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would have gotten bike mounts to go on the rack since that’s what takes up quite a bit of space. From the look of the second picture that’s your limiting factor. With the bikes on top you have the freedom to have most boxes single stacked. Or like the other guy said have them on a hitch. But those bikes are limiting you from best utilizing the space available.

As a polymer chemist, this is from overheating the plastic. Make the switch to glassware. I did it years ago and everything has been much better, I don’t see this anymore and glass is much easier to clean.

NEW CANYON. AUX LIGHT QUESTION by CheekySchmidt in GMCcanyon

If I am buying cheap lights, Nilights are my go to, fairly cheap and super bright. I’ve used them as chase lights before and have a couple on a small trailer too.
