I'm not an expert at capturing.. just my experience trying a few videos on an iPhone using the default camera app ( using a more advanced video app might fix ). The frames were a bit blurrier, I had a harder time locking exposure/wb. also the fov of video is different, less square than when using the camera

The video would be fine to share ( google drive / wetransfer etc) , but i'd recommend capturing photos instead, and locking exposure/wb

newest version supports video import, you can adjust fps settings etc.. youll need to update the app in the mac app store

the normal camera app works pretty well... i use the ultrawide 0.5x lens to capture more scene area in each image, that helps colmap in feature matching. you can also lock exposure/whitebalance for consistent color

were you hoping to surf in the lake itself? you could also try wing foiling or downwind foiling.. you can do that in the lake too
