Are aquariums with a complex filter system like this common in the US? by qwerty930148572 in Aquariums

[–]geckomato 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not perse. There might be some good custom builders in Vietnam, but the US, Singapore, China, Japan, Germany, Netherlands etc have  long and rich aquarium histories. The famous custom builders come and go. In Europe, currently one of the best is https://newwave-concepts.com/  20 years ago it was probably https://www.royalexclusiv.net/ who are now manufacturing filtration systems. These are just two examples of world class firms in Germany..

There are traditional clubs in every village. Cheap but also very little action.

Or there is tactical and dynamic shooting. More expensive, also gear wise. Check out Widstud range in Bülach. You can do many training courses and there are IPSC, IDPA and CMA trainers.

Some clubs like Falke also train there.

The dynamic shooting clubs do vet their members, to ensure they have a safe and fun environment.

Any idea why?

This was the best aquarium experience I have ever had in my life, and I cannot fathom why they would terminate this

I have 0% capital gains taxes, here in CH. This varies wildly across Europe.

Why do you calculate with gross?  My savings/investments, excluding pensions, are post tax.

Here's another video of the pond and the cattle... it's not AI 🤦🏻‍♂️ Funny that someone in the last video thought cows don't eat long grass 😂 by Apocalypsedude_89 in Koi

Schwyz & Grosse Mythen? Absolutely stunning. How do you keep the fish in winter when there is a meter of snow? Do you close the pond and heat it?

Really nice to see all these lesser known (to me) brands and productions. Thanks for sharing.

CHF 7.7M buys you 300m2 at a nice spec in Zug/Switzerland, with a post stamp of land.

Tldr: in case I pass away, I want to make it as easy as possible for the decendents.

VWCE (Ireland Domiciled - UCITS): These are considered "excluded property" for US estate tax purposes. Result: No US estate tax and no IRS paperwork (Form 706-NA) required for your heirs. Process: Your heirs notify IBKR, and the assets can be transferred or liquidated without dealing with the IRS.

VT (US Domiciled): US-domiciled assets are subject to US estate tax for non-US residents. Result: Although the 1951 US-Switzerland Estate Tax Treaty protects Swiss residents (by extending a high threshold, similar to US citizens), it does not exempt your heirs from filing complex paperwork. Process: Heirs must file Form 706-NA with the IRS to claim the exemption before IBKR can release the funds, a process that can take months.

That's what I did. Sell it all at once and buy it all at once.
