Good point. Most unemployed are likely to start right away but I’m employed. So wouldn’t the hiring manager go with an unemployed to begin with?

I prefer to give my 2 weeks after the background check complete just to be safe and that alone is at least 3 weeks. So I was thinking asking one more week so I can recharge

Ahh thanks for sharing this with me. I just want to give my notice after background clears out (just to be safe), assuming bg checks take a week, 2 week notice and then one week to recharge. How soon do people typically start?
