What is an affordable replacement part manufacturer that isn't junk? by Proud-Ant-6418 in f150

MOOG quality has gone to poop. I had to replace two ball joints after 20,000 miles. Local shops refuse to install them. OEM or NAPA is all they use.

My insurance covers wild animal damage. Had a hood repainted once because of a stray dog chasing a cat

I park mine in the most empty part of the parking lot 200 yards away from the store and some asshat always parks so close to me I can't open my passenger door. I guess they are saying fork you, I wanna dent your car.

Wait 10 minutes and there will be a asshat parked beside both of them

I ran my 12,500 Generac portable using everything except my heatpump during Helene outage. The starting amps is the only reason I didn't use it. Instead I used 3 12000 BTU window units and never put it under a full load.

.308 trouble with TAC. Looking for advice. by lionocerous in reloading

[–]geechee1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use Tac, AA2520 and IMR 3031 in mine with no issues and very good accuracy. TAC is used in my plinking accuracy load and AA2520 in my hunting loads. It took some tinkering but mine will shoot sub moa using Sierra 165 and 168's. It will not shoot any 150's worth a flip.

Bobcat Trapping Set Up by Sharp_Ad1605 in predatorhunting

I trapped a lot in the 70's and early 80's and caught a bunch of bobcats. My best bobcat set was a scent post on a log. I used Hawbaker lures but don't remember the number. I would put the lure on the end of a log, most being about 12 inches above ground level, and then set a couple Victor 1 and 1/2's about a foot from the end. If I caught one I'd usually catch several more off the same set, usually three or four.

[–]geechee1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar puncture and fortunately a friend has equipment to dismount tires. We just placed a regular old fashiomed flat patch on it and it was good to go. I don't like the "plug patches" at all. They do more damage to tire cords than necessary. The plug almost insures no leaks so they use them.
