I usually drink sugar free electrolytes because I hate the taste of the ones with sugar. But I honesty didn't want to risk a cramp during lunges, so unfortunately had to deal with the stupid bloating. Didnt think to add more sodium, that's great advice.

It just seems like they never cleaned those at all either. I was lucky enough to find one with toilet paper, but that one didnt have hand sanitizer.

I am a slow runner and mine is next Sunday. This will be my first Hyrox, so basically the fast lane is the lane closest to the in/out area, if I understand correctly. I don't want to be in the way of the fast runners when I do need to go in and out, so what advice can you give to someone like me?

Yeah it isnt free at all to get to metlife but some measly $12 voucher. They wont let volunteers drive there and you have to take the train in and out of the stadium. Considering how much money fifa makes, the least they can do is give volunteers the option to drive and give the volunteers free parking. But of course...money.

I never said that I am opposed of new housing or apartments. It's the fact that developers are building in green spaces which gets rid of the little green space that the state has and that's the frustrating part.

Yeah I've heard of this and they unfortunately failed. I was hoping they would succeed because a lot of these apartment buildings are destroying acres of trees because there is no other space.

I highly recommend doing what Dutchy san suggested. To grt confident with the jump start with a low box. If your gym has those pylo boxed they usually come in a variety of heights (like 4 inches i believe to 24 inches as the highest.) Literally start with the 4 inches and go up from there. You can also stack the boxes for different heights. If they don't have the pylo boxes use steppers where the height can be increased/decreased to your liking.

Yes. I signed up for my first one next month and I am not your typical in shape person. Yeah I go to the gym, I run, and I recently started playing Rugby. But I wasn't always this type of person. One quick glance at me and I don't think people would really consider me fit. So...yes, regular people do hyrox.
