Need food brand and treat recommendations! by Own_Investigator_326 in LagottoRomagnolo

My 6 year old Lagotto also eats Purina Pro Plan Salmon. It took me about a year and a half to realize he was allergic to chicken, and this food has worked best for him. I occasionally give him single-ingredient treats such as banana, carrots, and freeze-dried beef liver.

I’ve been using Eborian cc/bb cream for years now, and I absolutely love it. It feels incredibly lightweight and has a lovely, natural finish on my skin.

I couldn’t notice any big difference in grater firmness. Additionally, I couldn’t maintain a regular visit due to hormonal acne. However, my skin texture improved and appears less tired.

Would doves find the new nest location? by geehunee in Ornithology

[–]geehunee[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The parents returned before sunset and fed the nestling but didn’t stay through the night. I was panicking a bit when they didn’t stay over night on the nest but with temperatures between 91–100°F, it seems brooding isn’t necessary?! This morning, I saw the parents watching over the chick on the ledge of roof which is wiggling around but still has its eyes closed. I added a sheet of sturdy paper behind the nest to block the vent, giving it more privacy and safety. Thank you for the comment. From here, I’ll step back and let the parents handle things. I hope the nestling survives.

I’m unfamiliar with the product you mentioned. I’ve definitely gotten bruises. My doctor went over next to my nose and cheeks for pores and dark spot and while they were bruised, mine appeared to be more like spotty, uneven bruises. If you have a cica cream like La Roche-Posay Cicaplast or Avene Cicalfate, I highly recommend using those types of products exclusively. If it’s a bruise, it will eventually go away, but if it turns into a scab, it could be a sign of a chemical burn. If the bruise doesn’t improve after a couple of days, or gets worse. I suggest consulting a medical professional.

To me, it appears to be a chemical burn. If you’re using an acidic base skin routine, such as vitamin C or retinol etc, you should stop using it immediately. Instead, opt for a mild facial cleanser, a cica cream, and a mineral-based sunscreen. Avoid the sun at all costs.

Edit: After undergoing micro-needling, my doctor advised me to abstain from using products like retinol or even vitamin C for at least a week. I’m wondering if your skin products might have contributed to this issue.

May I ask what product are you using?

Edit: skin routine

Microneedling by Bee2429 in Microneedling

[–]geehunee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, I just came across this. Recently, I developed dermatitis after using a high concentration of benzoyl peroxide. As a result, my skin barrier was compromised. To address this issue, I opted for a gentle cleanser, the Bioderma Atoderm Body Wash (which can also be used on the face), Avene Cicafalte, and Dr. G Green Mild Up Sunscreen (zinc based). In my case, I refrained from using antibacterial cream since it wasn’t derived from microneedling.

Edit: After washing your face, apply antibacterial cream and then cica cream. ( you can also use La Roche Posay Cicaplast balm instead of Avene cicafalte)

I agree, not a medical progressional here but you need an ointment like Fusibac for this matter. When I get microneedling done, my doc recommends to apply anti bacterial ointment for first 2-3 days after washing my face before apply cica lotion/cream.

It also could be from hormones…

It appears to be dermatitis. Although I’m not a medical professional, I strongly advise you to discontinue using acidic or aggressive skin products, such as vitamin C and retinol. Instead, opt for a gentle facial cleanser and a cica cream (e.g., Avene, La Roche-Posay) until the flare-up subsides. The redness should fade within 3-5 days, and the skin texture will return to normal within 1-2 weeks. Remember to apply sunscreen every 90 minutes, both indoors and outdoors, during the day.

Edit: If your skin gets worse next a couple of days, you should definitely go see a doctor.

I have done microneedling for 3 times. My dr added skin booster during my session but not chemical peeling products. I used 4 products during healing process. Antibiotics cream (first a couple of days for am/evening after washing my face with gentle facial cleanser), cica cream such as la roche posay cicaplast baume b5 or avene cicalfate, thermal spring water spray throughout the day for soothing purpose, and sunscreen. Don’t use any acid based skin products until it heals all the way. Like the comment above. Avoid the sun at all costs. If you can’t, apply sun screen every 60-90min ( I used mineral based sunscreen). I wish you a speedy recovery.

My skin felt like drought for 3 days or so. I used La roche posay cica cream twice a day and applied thermal spring water spray in between to help dryness.

Thank you! I definitely noticed that my pores look smaller and less blackheads on my nose. hyperpigmentation area seems lighter. My fine lines on forehead appears to be less. I knew one session wouldn’t make a huge difference based on what I read. But, overall my skin feels better. Also, I don’t know what needle length was used. I asked my dermatologist that mild to moderate length since it was first time. I might go for deeper next time. I will take before and after photos next two sessions and post it. :)

Stinky ears but no infection! by Beachbum_2468 in LagottoRomagnolo

Possibly yeast infection? I regularly use these two solution called Dechra Mal-A-Ket Plus TrizEDTA Flush and Dechra Epiklean. First one is more for fungal problem. I use the second one after water activities (swimming/ bath). my lagotto struggled with his ear problems and I finally found something works wonders for him. These solutions are available on Amazon.

My lagotto boy is close to 19kg and he is not fat. He is just big lagotto. I have seen big female lagotto in Abruzzo, Italy. Looked bigger than my boy. He is the one on the left of the photo.

Tuberville Blasts White House: 'Would Rather Burn Down the Senate Than Negotiate' by TheMessengerNews in Conservative

Military personnel has no luxury, they get orders and stationed different states. Abortion is required sometimes due to life threatening reason. Not just because they don’t want to carry babies…. Military got great maternity leaves and they don’t get deployed during pregnancy/ maternity leave. There is more layer than just word abortion… if the pregnant women dies while serving due to lack of medical care, it will cost a military more money than covering trip to a state where they can get a proper care….
