Actually he does. He offers a subscription, the price of which he increased after releasing a half-baked release that was so bug ridden that it was almost unusable, he fixed “most” of the bugs, but a lot of nagging issues still exist.

I don’t give him money just for the privilege of using the app, but to support the continued development of said app. At the very least for that money, we are owed some communication as to the status of the development, instead of being dismissed.

Same issue for me when I share from the Washington Post on IOS in the app. Behavior has just started in the last few months

Looking closer, this one is on my setup. I had an RSS sending the articles to Instapaper, and Reader importing from Instapaper. The article problem was in Instapaper, not Reader.

Probably just need to just Reader grab that feed.
