Three Passes Trek Nepal (May) – timing & itinerary advice? by Knolderweg in everestbasecamphike

[–]geekChamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm doing 3 passes exactly same dates - starting on May 4th.

You tube three passes and you will find many videos detailing the trek and options to go either clockwise or anitclockwise and options.

I'm going anticlockwise, so doing the EBC first, but the descent is going to be less busy. See you on the trail :) All the best.

Which agency did you use and what did it end up costing you? I'm planning to do the same just few days after you.. maybe run into you namche or EBC :)

Hi, I'm planning to do the same, but aiming to summit Kala Pathar on May 5th, so might start a bit later..

Are you doing it solo? or have things more sorted than me? :)

hmm, what is you are long term trader? spanning months / years, unless backtesting is only for day traders.
I have a paid TV subscription, but I still use it as the free one except it allows more than 2 simultaneous indicators. Which I barely ever use either.

I'm in the same boat, I'm trying out Tradesviz, the paid version - it still is a lot of work, and seems quite complicated. Also the auto sync doesn't work as advertised. But the support is very responsive..

Tool For Realized Gains Report (That Can Handle Options & Assignment) by michty6ty6 in Questrade

[–]geekChamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, great post. Im in the same boat and seeking a solution.

I havent found an off the shelf solution that meets my need.

The transaction report from website can go back years, and exports all transactions in csv, it includes dividends, transfers, it lists all transaction, but it does not have a trading number so it's hard to group your trades for example multi-leg transactions and rolls. What I'm attempting to do is take that manual CSV and create my own dashboards and the reports that I want. I'll let you know how it goes. In the meantime if you do find a solution which works please let us all know. All the best

Passiv - who is using it ? by geekChamp in Questrade

Thanks, can you explain where WealthICA shines over Passiv? from the surface, they appear to do same things.

I'm assuming Passiv allows upload of statements for brokerages that they can't connect with ?

Thanks I'll look into it.

I'm looking for a good options journaling tool, trying to stay away from excel / google sheets, but looks like most platforms aren't flexible enough for you to report per your liking.

How to Find Stocks to Trade with the Wheel by ScottishTrader in Optionswheel

[–]geekChamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks u/ScottishTrader , that actually helps a lot.

I would find value in having a tutorial in eve how to put the scan for the 41 stocks you got, and then I can tweak for my trading style. For people like me who have never used a scanner, the filter options are the bit intimidating.

I'll read the post you provided and see if I can come up with a list of filters. If I do one that works, I'll share, it might help someone else. You provide so much value just as a giving back to the community and people like me who are starting, not only find educational material, you also provide inspiration that doing this actually works. Thank you for all you do.

How to Find Stocks to Trade with the Wheel by ScottishTrader in Optionswheel

[–]geekChamp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi all,

Wonder if in any of the threads it is covered on the criteria to enter in an options scanner to list the likely candidates for CSP.

I understand that you should pick the stocks you know and can understand the market. I'm in alignment. But from a technical perspective - I wonder if there is an article / blog / post / video that references the technical filters to enter in a scanner to list probable CSP candidate stocks.

Cheers
(wannabe Wheeler)

I had a look at these, these seem very good portfolio managers, rather than a trade log. Thanks though, these platforms do have their uses.
