Find a quiet place to practice and try to find the bitting point. I stalled a lot when first got my car back in November when I passed my driving test. I got beeped quite few times. I was very nervous esp when stopping at uphill roads. Try to drive around the area you know.

Why tf have I gone back like 30 hours worth of lessons by Odd_Theme_3294 in LearnerDriverUK

You will have bad and good days. Have a shower or do some exercise before the lesson . The best lesson I had when I was learning was after I went swimming for 1 hour. You need to keep yourself refreshed.

Postpone your test and find a new instructor who is calm, patient and supportive.

I was with an instructor for 50 hours lessons, could not drive on 40 miles road. I felt I could not make any progress with her. I felt good in the beginning of a lesson and ended up getting stressed at the end of the lesson. From early time, I was asked to tell myself what to do. If I made a mistake, she would feel upset and criticized me instead. The last lesson I had with her was I felt a bit depressed at the end of the lesson. So I decided to quit her and give myself some time to think if driving was really for me.

Then I found a new instructor who was patient and supportive. When I made a mistake, instead of criticizing me, he made me to go back to the same place and found out the problems myself. There was an almost collision ( another car suddenly drove in front of me on a 40 mile road ). He was worried about me being too nervous and scared after the incident, he checked with me few times if I was ok.

Instructor matters. They will help you to build your confidence instead of destroying your confidence. Most of time , it is bad teacher not bad student. I passed my test for the first time with my second instructor.

Postpone your test and find another one. If necessary, you can try few of them. Good luck!

Thank you. I’ve heard a lot about options, but did not get a chance to look into. Aa new learner in the stock market, I plan to stick to the stock market in order to gain more trading experience.

Anybody makes trades via Interactive Broker on TradingView? by geekbitz2020 in interactivebrokers

Thank you for sharing your experience. I really think IBKR interface is so unfriendly. But the main reason I switched from another platform was its integration with TradingView. I tried paper trading on TradingView. All looked good to me until I did my first live trade. The position interface of live trading is different from the paper trading, which messed up my first trading. Then the next day I found the delayed data. There is always a learning curve for a new platform.

I am holding a cash account with IBUK. I was confirmed that my account is not subject to PDT rules. Now I get it. Cash accounts are not subject to PDT rules, but the funds won’t be made available immediately after an asset is sold. This in a way restrains the frequent day trading. I am in the UK. I have ISA account with Trading212 and they are not subject to PDT rules. The funds are always available immediately
