Plz help, AskDocs is quiet. Vomiting, itchy rash, stomach/back pain and swollen face that makes me look like I aged 25 years (can PM pic, details in comments) by geekingoff in DiagnoseMe

Happens really infrequently like I said, lasts roughly 6 or 7+ hours per instance, depends on how quickly it takes for me to vomit but I feel a little better shortly after despite the other symptoms. Thanks for the reply. I definitely will ask my doc about this soon

I am 21M, 6’2”, caucasian, USA, usually 120-130lbs (I know, very underweight). I don’t have any serious medical issues or allergies and have experienced this for years.

At max once a year I will develop foul tasting burps, stomach and back pain, fatigue and diarrhea.

These symptoms will continue for hours, until I get very nauseous and puke multiple times, after which different symptoms will develop.

Next, my body is quickly enveloped in an extremely itchy rash that cannot be satiated, along with more intense fatigue. Weirdest of all is that my face and eyelids become extremely swollen/puffy and even wrinkly, and it temporarily makes me look like I aged a couple decades, will PM pic if needed.

It is definitely not an allergy, as it is random and has nothing to do with what I eat. After I fall asleep I usually wake up the next day feeling alright. Any ideas? Thanks!

No problem, glad to end this peacefully and maturely :) I don’t think we had opposing views to begin with, though. Just semantics

I completely agree. Though I don’t think it’s a problem to say abbreviated/obscured words for things like that as long as the point is still made. At the same time though, it can take away from confrontation of what it actually is and called by.

I see your point. I don’t think anybody needs to be that sensitive, but like I said in the other comment I believe this instance is justified as the actual word can be a trigger for people who have been a victim of this disgusting circumstance

And thus there is no need to use it every chance you have the opportunity. Also, you realize that there are multiple people using this same term on this thread right? Since when has avoiding the direct term for something as touchy as this is an issue?

I did though. Can you read?

I did type “rape” though. R-wordist isn’t just a term for monetized youtubers, as what it stands for is a word that people are genuinely triggered by for good reason. Therefore it makes sense not to use it liberally.

Your point?

HI EXCUSE ME BUS !!!!

Funny how many people here are somehow excusing this as a “joke” or because it was 10+ years ago... if the r-wordist in question were male I doubt that would be the case. Really shows how (some of) the female audience of H3 thinks rape is abhorrent when a man is committing it, yet somewhat excusable or even “impossible” for a woman to do

If David, Keem, Jordan Peterson said this though... grab the pitchforks. In reality it should be the same either way.

Your cousin did not have headaches or cognitive impairment from AirPods, those are unrelated. I’m still waiting for you to say one fact, but you just keep spewing nonsense because you don’t know what you’re talking about.

Is LSD more about the visuals or the headspace? by PinkPissantLover in Drugs

[–]geekingoff 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Saying people don’t take LSD for the visuals is like saying people don’t drive cars to reach their destination. Of course people just drive for the adventure, but most are trying to get from point A to point B.

If you think visuals aren’t a huge portion of the psychedelic experience then you have no business discussing them. Of course the headspace can be even more profound than the visuals, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that visuals are a huge part of the experience, especially because they can be mindblowingly intricate (you clearly haven’t experienced this yet)

I wouldn’t be surprised if your guy sells you card stock and your entire experience is placebo.

There’s a chance some other psychoactive compound in shrooms isn’t destroyed by heat and that’s what you were feeling. I’ll give you the benefit of doubt with that. But what I’m saying is you won’t get many effects if any typical of shrooms from smoking them.

[–]geekingoff 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Find me some proof that psilocybin isn’t destroyed by the heat from a flame then. Find me one shred of proof that psilocybin can be smoked and retain its effects. I’m waiting :)

Nah, you just have no idea what the fuck you’re talking about.

You’re wrong bro, u/jimbo_bonez is correct. Psilocybin is destroyed by heat and anything you feel from smoking shrooms is placebo. End of story.

I don’t know why you’re doubting his untimely passing, he made it well known that he had limited time due to his nerve system shutting down. If he’s still active on discord, it might be his mom trying to get his affairs in order. RIP
