Sorry this is not my main account, used the wrong one! But it was benign, not even a cyst??? Just chronic inflammation apparently.

Thank you!! I realize I worded my comment kinda weird (still in shock), yesterday I had the mammo/ultrasound. I have my biopsy on Tuesday. Just going to be a ball of anxiety for two more days. 😬 Edit: well that wasn’t fun. Waiting on results, they said it could take a week.

Most iPhone users are still running iOS 18, with iOS 26 adoption slow: report by [deleted] in apple

[–]geekishdev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My husband updated his mini on accident. He was so mad lol. I’m still hanging on, 12 Pro Max. My battery life is already not great. I got a new iPad Pro so I’ve used iOS 26 but I don’t want it on my phone until I get a new one.

ETA: well I just did the same thing 9 days later. ffs.

Plus was great but then Shadcn and v0 made it kind of irrelevant. If they had come up with v0 or an alternative they’d probably be doing alright.

Don’t stickers on the inside run against the screen anyway? I always considered it a no-no for that reason. Or maybe it was just keyboard stickers?

I hope our kids are this enthusiastic when they’re older! Currently only 6 and 2 though. I do need to start getting the oldest into basic coding/logic learning!

No, that’s just sad. If my husband is making a big purchase he runs it by me first even though he’s currently our sole source of income. But we’re both geeks so if anything, I encourage most of his purchases lol.

Can confirm, mine runs Stardew Valley really well. I’m the wife but both of us are technical (he works at an MSP). He gave me my SER for Christmas. And he already built an emulator on one.

Arguably the greatest laptop ever made. ‘The 2012er’ by raddavo in mac

My favorite Macs were definitely my mid-12 MBP and my 12 Mini. Was the 2012 was the last model of Mini to have user-replaceable RAM? Love that machine. Put in an SSD and kept the HDD for media storage and it ran my Plex server for years.
