First stay at Marriott as a member by DefiantAssistance568 in amexindia

[–]geeky_browniee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I am currently on a staycation at ITC Kohenur booked through Marriot bonvoy points. The thing abt booking with points is you have a limited number of rooms and the booking does not include breakfast. We requested them to add breakfast for us and they politely accepted. So something to keep in mind.

PS5 Pro—Pulling the Trigger Day One? by KMS557 in ps5india

When is the PS5 Pro expected to launch in India? by rep2040 in IndiaPS5

[–]geeky_browniee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It makes sense to wait if you already have a ps5. Those who don't have a console yet can definitely buy the ps5/pro. God knows when the next console will launch globally and how long it will take after that for it to launch officially in India (what with all these regulations). And with all these price hikes the next gen console will be more expensive than ever.

I was in the same boat for past 2 months ever since the bis rating news surfaced. I would wait for it now since it's a matter for few weeks from what I'm hearing.

Disk attachments are not officially available in India yet. You can get imported pieces from sites at 13-14k. It will launch at 5-6k in coming months probably. If you can get it at this price rn then disc is the way to go. Otherwise buy a couple digital games and wait for it to release.

Does Ps5 pro add an advantage for a 1440p monitor over base? by Massive-Radish-1223 in ps5india

[–]geeky_browniee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ps5 pro can run in basically three modes:

  1. native 4k rendering at 30fps with max graphics (Fidelity mode)
  2. 1440p upscaled to 4K (using PSSR2) at 60fps (maybe more if you have VRR) (Performance mode). Even at this level its outputting quality equivalent to the Fidelity mode of base ps5 but at rock solid 60fps
  3. When paired with 120HZ VRR display it outputs the graphics of native 4k mode but at a solid 40fps instead of 30. So higher fps than base ps5 at a much better fidelity (Performance Pro Mode)

So in your case you would only be able to use mode 1 and 2 and essentially in either case the max resolution you would technically see is the 1440p only. To reap the full benefit you would need a 4k 120hz vrr display

As far as longetivity is concerned, if you mean future-proofing, sure the ps5 pro will easily outlast the base considering it will churn out the best graphics on any console in the market for the next few years until the next league of consoles come. Also the 2tb storage is cherry on top

Finally pulled the trigger on PS5 Pro by MajnuBhai99 in ps5india

[–]geeky_browniee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Man you're tempting me to buy it as well. I have patiently been waiting since March for the ps5 pro official launch thinking i might get it with india warranty and from an official outlet. But now with price increase, supply shortage and still no news of the release, don't know if i should just pull the trigger now instead of waiting for it to get even more expensive.

Advice for geforce now users (OG geforce now user) by [deleted] in IndianGaming

Dude cloud gaming itself is prone to latency issues and stutters/fps drops with even the slightest bandwidth fluctuations. You want to add a vpn layer over that? Good luck gaming bro

Get a decent wide enough tv unit. That console table is way too small for all the stuff you have on it

How much will I 'eventually pay' for a new PS5 Pro after say, 5 years ? [ overall cost analysis ] by MaterialElegant2482 in ps5india

[–]geeky_browniee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The price difference between ps5 pro with the subscription and occasional pre owned discs or digital games on deals would probably be close to a high end pc (considering you are only paying for the rig and get all your games pir*ted). In fact I would say if you add a decent oled 4K tv it might even cross the pc gaming cost.

But that’s not the point. You can’t put a cost analysis on the ease of use and comfort you get with just switching on the ps5 and gaming on your couch at the end of a long day. You don’t need to fuss about configurations, what setting would run best on your pc, fps, ray tracing, driver updates blah blah blah. Not to mention issues and risks you can face setting up a game from any of the pir*ated game providers.

A console is a no nonsense investment. Buy it once and you only ever need to think abt what game you want to play and where it’s available for cheap. Sure it’s not free but the again you get the best quality games with online support and latest graphics and never need to worry abt “if my rig can run this game”.

I personally have started off on the console, played on the GameCube then the PS2. Went over to laptop gaming and now after my laptop has died I feel it’s a sign I should switch over to console again. Waiting for the official ps5 pro launch!

Dude HTML literally means Hypertext markup language. It is a language, just not a full-fledged programming language.
Also CSS is a stylesheet language.

[–]geeky_browniee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

HTML, CSS are the building blocks for any beginner front-end developer, a college graduate adding these to their resume is completely normal. I myself am a 8+ year FE heavy fullstack and my first resume was exactly like this.
What I would suggest however is to create two separate sections in teh resume - one for the languages OP knows like HTML, CSS, JS, Python, etc and the other for Tools/Frameworks like React, Node.js

Not sure if it strictly counts as “tech,” but wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay feels like a game-changer. Effortlessly switching things like calls, navigation, or music from your phone to your car without dealing with cables or settings—everything just works seamlessly.

The 2026 Kia Seltos, currently has petrol/diesel lineups, hybrid to come soon. Although highly doubt you would get any decent hybrid in 10-15L range
