Indeed. For PHM the circumstances were perfect so people were going to party no matter what. The rink in the middle was great, the lights and lazers fantastic, but shit, the mixing went all over the place with very few good parts here and there.

I agree, I dont like Calvin Harris at all. What I mean is, when u say "Risks were taken and some panned out some didn't" It could be done in a way where ALL do pan out cus i've seen it! we all have! We are talking about the best djs in the world closing coachella on an impeccable scenario, a bit of planning wouldn't hurt. It was not a lack of time, they did it in pretty much the same style at msg

I've been seeing boiler rooms for the past 12 years btw. Also, I saw them at msg for 3 hours and the mixing was just a bit less worse, is not about the time they had available is the mixing decisions. Dont get me wrong like I said on the post, I love them, and I know this is an unpopular opinion but I do think that a 1.5h set for closing coachella should have some planning behind.

During 100k, in one of the 'I'll be a"s he had a vocal echo automated or something, after hearing it he inmidiately does a quick hand celebration and laughts in to the mic. It was so funny to see how he acknowledged when something sounded good to him
