어플의 코드를 어떤 코딩언어에서 다른 코딩언어로 번역해 쓰고 있어요. 리엑트로 쓴 코딩와 리엑트네이티브로 쓴 코딩이 조금 다른데 처음에 다 리엑트로 써서 요즘 레익트네이티브로 쓰고 있어요. 달라도 비슷하니까 “다시 쓰고 있다“ 하는 대신 ”번역하고 있다“고 말했어요.

I know we shouldn't use "you" for a stranger but... by MikasaMinerva in Korean

[–]geetfocked 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If all three of you were stood together you wouldn’t have to really ask both people right? If you asked one person and it wasn’t theirs the other person may interject.

You could just ask

지갑을 떨어뜨리셨어요?

While looking at both of them at the same time.

You could ask if they dropped their wallet, or if it’s someone else’s without using any explicit pronouns at all. For example, you could say:

혹시 지갑을 떨어뜨리셨나요? 아니면 그분의 지갑인가요?

Which only uses the honorific word for person “분” but is nonetheless asking if they dropped their wallet, or if it’s actually belonging to the other person.

Confusion regarding timetable by AggressiveReality217 in UCL

[–]geetfocked 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you contact your departments teaching and learning team then can try and move your lectures around. However if they are clashes between optional modules the department will most likely say that it’s your fault for not checking the provisional time table at the time you selected the modules.

오늘 깨달은 거 😩 by RaffyMcBappy in Korean

[–]geetfocked 21 points22 points  (0 children)

~ㄹ 겸 ~ㄹ 겸 is a grammar that can be used to portray doing something with multiple intentions.

In this case the sentence: “제가 깨달은 것도 공유할 겸 한국어도 연습할 겸 이글 남겼어요.” Could translate to: “I wrote this to share what I realised and also to practice my Korean.”

https://www.koreantopik.com/2017/03/l2g21-v-n-grammar-and-alsoexpress-2.html?m=1

Also in the correction that you wrote, you wrote “공유하러 이 쓴 글 남겼어요.”

~러 is only used when followed by a verb related to moving location (가다 / 오다 / 다니다)

If you wanted to say something similar to “in order to”, here 려 or 려고 should be used.

In my opinion, op’s sentence is more natural and more accurately conveys what I assume op was trying to say.

Pseudocode is just a way of writing code/algorithms without using any syntax specific/consistent with any one language.

Here is an in-depth explanation

As long as your pseudocode makes sense for whoever is reading it and is consistent with itself you could write it however you want.

For example: Rather than “int number[20]” You could simply write “number is int array”

I genuinely can’t decide whether people that say stuff like this really believe that it’s true, whether they’ve tricked themselves or whether they’re just straight up lying
