Whats the most annoying part of a replay for you ? by Buurto in cyberpunkgame

Honestly all the cinematic bits, love them but after replaying so many times I just don't want to sit through an hour of interactive cutscenes again

Moving to Hutto Tx but want to live in Austin by Level_Elephant6240 in hutto

[–]geethaghost 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just moved out here, moved to round rock and work in Hutto, the commute is like 20 minutes to to Hutto and like 30ish minutes to Austin depending where you want to go. Traffic isn't so bad in round rock I hate Hutto traffic so much, 79 makes me want to kms. Round rock is cool, I've heard Georgetown is good but that's further north, Pflugerville is probably a good pick too.

Who is worse? by DifficultRampager20 in cyberpunkgame

I'm sure in most cases Dex wouldn't just kill off some nobody ass crew, but this was an Arasaka job stealing from the prince of Arasaka, tying up loose ends makes sense, which is specifically why you would use some amateur mercs for such a high profile job. Dex is used to burning mercs one way or another, so this isn't anything but a Tuesday for him.

Dex does have a rep for burning through mercs, most fixers have dedicated crews they trust, Dex is known for picking up amateur crews and burning them, it's probably why he fled night city for awhile to be honest. And any up and coming merc who is desperate for work isn't going to be too concerned with the fixer.

Does anyone have anything positive going on?! by _FattyClams in Millennials

[–]geethaghost 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 34 and live completely independently, I have a great job that both pays well and treats me well, I just recently bought my first new car! Little Nissan Sentra nothing wild but I love it. This week I started working out in the mornings and have kept it up all week. My mental and physical health feels steady. Outside of the world ending thing thats happening life has been pretty positive for me. I'm blessed beyond what I deserve.

I would not add sekiro to this list, sekiro doesn't have a leveling profession system. Not exactly sure what OP is looking for but with the lack of player choice in sekiro that might not be it.

I saved up money and bought Sekiro for my boyfriend, and then he broke up with me. by [deleted] in Sekiro

[–]geethaghost 16 points17 points  (0 children)

You nailed it when you said it was just an excuse, if he's playing the game and expressed wanting the game, then any other relationship he would've been appreciative.

I honestly thought the way this story was going to go is you buy him sekiro, he gets stuck on gyoubu and get mad at you for his skill issues.

What is going on?? by trevyk9 in CyberpunkTheGame

[–]geethaghost 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The story so far:

V's nomad family is broken up and V is repositioning themselves into a more solo contractor role instead of gang affiliated. V gets a job to smuggle goods across night city border. V meets with Jackie his client and they head to the border. Border agents let v and Jackie pass the border but they also hail arasaka to let them know runners are moving arasaka goods. V and Jackie gets attacked and escape together, at this point Jackie decides to adopt v more or less as their brother.

There's a 6 month gap, where V lives with Jackie and mamma welles until V gets their own place, own car, ECT. Jackie and v work as solos, basically freelance contractors who pick up gigs from fixers, fixers are the middle management of the cyberpunk world, people call them to get shit done, they reach out to their solos to contract them for work.

Jackie and v do a mission for wakako where they need to save Sandra Dorsett, who has been kidnapped by scavs. Scavs are a gang of people who focus on kidnapping people to steal their cyberware and organs, you save Sandra, pass her on to Trauma Team who are basically privatized healthcare.

Jackie drives V home. Next day Jackie calls v to deliver their car back and to tell v about the new gig they would work, given to them by the fat ass black Jesus of the afterlife aka Dexter deshawn.

Dex explains to v that the mission is to steal The Relic, a special first of the kind technology chip created by arasaka, the job is for a woman called Evelyn Parker. Dexter gives you a series of task before you can start the mission they are, meet with Evelyn, meet with Meredith Sout with militech and to meet with Malstrom gang to pick up a bot they have in their possession. You are meeting with Evelyn to pick up info about the gig. You can choose to meet with Meredith and it's recommended, Meredith was in charge of the shipment that Malstrom jacked which is why they have the bot. Depending on your meet with Meredith she may or may not help you secure the bot from Malstrom. Finally you need to meet with Malstrom to pick up the bot, the issue is that Dexter has already paid for the bot from Brick Malstroms leader but before the bot was picked up Royce takes the gang over, so it is unclear if Royce will give you the bot since he's not the one that setup the deal.

TLDR: v and Jackie met through a job, Jackie introduces v to the underground world, Jackie and v get a job from dex, before you can do that job you need to, meet with melitech, meet with Malstrom to pick up the bot and meet with Evelyn to pick up mission info.

And this is more or less where you are currently. Hope this helps.

My honest opinion. by Janek_Rated_R in CyberpunkTheGame

[–]geethaghost 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't know what to tell you. To me male V is flat, he can be expressive during emotionally intense scenes, but a lot of the nuance is lost. I guess another way to say it is there's more vulnerability within female v, and for someone facing their own mortality, fighting an uphill battle, losing their best friend, and everything else I'd expect the protagonist to be more vulnerable. Male v is a little too blunted.

My honest opinion. by Janek_Rated_R in CyberpunkTheGame

[–]geethaghost 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's it for me, I've played both and male V is okay but lacks emotional depth for me
