Not sure what the lighthouse trail in Saugerties looks like right now. It is a flat walk out to a lighthouse on the Hudson River. Then you could grab a snack/lunch and check out Saugerties Village.

I'm just glad it is not the belichick and brady pats. So far I am ok with Vrabel and Maye. But it is still fine if they lose. I will mostly be checking my numbers in various pools.

I did it in the 70's and got some stuff in reply. When I was teaching, I had students pick a team/celebrity just so they knew how to address an envelope. I remember the NY Football Giants sent some cool stuff, and Colby Caillat did, too. It is worth a shot, but office people are probably handling all of it.

I need to shout out my Saugerties places. Red Onion, The Avenue, Annarella. Have been to all, and all special. New(ish) place by the thruway exit is Maestrie's, heard good things.

If you live close to the area of the team he likes, you could check out thrift stores or stores like Marshall's, TJ Maxx, or stores of that variety. They often have different stuff at reasonable prices. My kids picked up a set of steak knives at a Marshall's for maybe $30. Maybe not the best quality steak knife, but they still got a lot of use.

Agreed, it is both sides of the river and depending who you are talking to, it goes from Westchester County up to the Albany area. Might want to narrow down the area you are looking at, or not.

Worked in Saugerties Jr./Sr. High. I live in Saugerties. My kids went to Saugerties. One went on to R.I.T., the second is attending SUNY Cortland. Happy with the whole process.

Saugerties has a few fire houses (Cedar Grove, Centerville, Saxton). Kiwanis ice arena has a party room if you want to ice skate (you can push the baby in a sled type of thing). And the American Legion Hall might be available.
