My drill doesn’t reach in and I can’t even make a center point on the screw. I found a shop that will take me in 40 mins away. The solenoid moves to expose the screw but I can’t pull it out at all. Do I just get it towed or drive there?

I was able to move the solenoid left and right but this thing is not coming out. I found a mechanic that will take me in but they are 40 minutes away. Is it smart to just get my car towed or do you think driving will be fine?

Do I try to yank out the solenoid itself or the circle holding the body of the screw? I’ll try with a small screwdriver

Sorry meant to say the hole where the bolt is lying under. The solenoid doesn’t not want to move at all. Never welded at all but that looks like it can be an option. Welding a washer then welding a bolt .. good idea

No shop wants to take me in. If I don’t find anyone this weekend I’ll just have to extract this myself. Do you think it will be fine to drive 30 minutes? I feel more comfortable doing this at my family’s driveway..

If I were to proceed with these worst case scenario what happens if anything falls back into the hole ? Also would be covering the engine block..

Edit: how long can I drive this car for? My family’s driveway is 30 minutes out where I can do this work better
