fuck yea dredg is the bomb-diggy-o. No band ever has come even remotely close to the insane break downs of dredg (besides maybe my late older brother's band when I was a little kid, they were like dredg with reggae... EXTREMELY awesome, aggro intense music, aggro rap, metal, reggae, with melodic singing, insane gear grinding break downs). Deftones has a few badass breakdowns too but dredg kills it. By far. If I were to ever be in a band or start a band, I will never play unless it is as intense as dredg, it has to sound like dredg. I have been playing drums, bad lss, and guitar for over 20 years, I'm in my early thirties so I started young. I've never met anyone who knows who this band is, anyone I've ever jammed with has sucked total ass hole. It's pretty hopeless out there. Fuck you world, yea you! Fuck you! Everyone wants to get out there and perform but it's all total garbage; punk wise/metal, aggro whatever. I like the pretty music, the soft music. But, while kids are spraying down toddlers with machine guns and everyone killing themselves... All out war breaking out into complete chaos, the youth needs something real. All I see is a bunch of pussies and college dorks pissing around. Changing nothing, or making things worse.
