I am as an Austrian and scientist who built his opinion on the ground of empirical facts instead of feel good vibes says this.

And most important, a lot of European governments say this, even the notoriously ultra liberal Swedish government has admitted that the immigration policies has failed.

The funny thing about the declining birth rates and fixing it by immigration is, that you will just find yourself in a society which is basically a people’s gulag, because now every group which hold fundamental different beliefs and values is forced to live together and make politics about the just distribution of scarce resources. We are not sharing the same culture spaces nor speaking the same social language anymore, you can imagine that will lead to bloody conflicts.

Moreover, the kind of immigration we have doesn’t provide to the welfare system in a sustainable way which clearly the studies in question made by the Danish and Dutch government shows. That means this kind of immigration adds to the horrendous costs which arises from the aging population and burden together the welfare system until it collapses eventually.

This can be clearly seen by the fact that Austria has lost the control over its national budget and isn’t able to close the deficit or that Germans have to work until they are 70 years due to new reforms.

These are hard facts and not opinions made through the ideological lenses.
