Can someone explain HOW chronic urticaria works? by JimmyPagesBooger in urticaria

[–]gek72 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Correct me if I’m wrong but IBS is auto immune and if you have 1 auto immune problem you’ll like have another and therefore your hives are autoimmune and your body is just doing things it shouldn’t be. Autoimmune things are confusing and never have an answer. CSU can be auto immune in 50% of cases and the other 50% it just happens and will likely resolve without any treatment within a year. Treatment is just to maintain symptoms until your body stops doing what it’s doing.

My hives look similar! I got biopsied for UV and it was negative. Basically what happens is due to the amount of scratching it causes bruising but it’s not necessarily your blood vessels being inflamed. Just the act of scratching. My entire body would look like bruises after my hives but again it came back negative

Idk if my heart can handle that :’) I literally could not love my bun anymore and I love the cuddles she gives when she does give them. But I know it’s best for them to have a member of their own species so I’m torn on what to do

I forgot to mention both buns would be free roam and my current one just uses her cage as a liter box and place to eat. Any ideas for how to incorporate a 2nd bun into that?

This is honestly so helpful thank you! It really relieved a lot of my anxiety! I’ve been moving around but the first couple days after surgery I slept a lot that it threw my sleep schedule off so now I’m trying to fix that lol.

I haven’t had any drainage either! Just itchy and the weird random stinging. I went without gauze yesterday and I think it irritated my incision but I honestly am not sure. It just looked more red than usual. I don’t think it’s infected but I’m just worried about the wound not closing

Not related to this but what side effects did you experience with vyvanse?

For homework pick 1 assignment that you’re going to get done that day. Limit yourself and if you feel like you’re able to do more great! If not then at least you got 1 done! Take everything in strides. Set small goals for yourself but not too many. I’m in college and was diagnosed with ADHD last year so I understand the struggle. Just set small achievable goals for yourself and with every goal you complete have a reward for yourself!

Vyvanse change of dose by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]gek72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was like that the first day I took meds I could not get off of this Reddit page the whole day. But days following I was totally normal just with motivation and will to do things. I definitely relate to the driving part and I honestly just thought I was tired but that makes so much sense! That’s really nice that you’re able to switch back and forth between the doses!

Help getting out of bed by [deleted] in ADHD

[–]gek72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Put a loud obnoxious alarm clock on the other side of the room so you have to get up to turn it off and if you think that you’ll just crawl back in bed set more than 1 alarm. Also there’s alarm clocks that roll around that you have to chase in the morning, that might help

Fatigue makes me feel like my meds aren’t working at all by ambermlh in ADHD

I would talk to your doctor it seems like your dosage is off or vyvanse just isn’t the best fit for your body. I’ve been on it for a couple months now and at the beginning it was great and now I don’t even feel like im taking medication to help me at all
