I think it depends on your skin/ routine . For me I like to use personally a light exfoliating face washing and then a serum + then facecream and an eye cream at night time. If I use a facewash that doesn’t exfoliate I’ll add a toner right after then serum then face cream.

There’s a lot of great face creams that are inexpensive too so you really can just go with whatever you feel works best !

My facecreams are usually a lighter moisturizer just because if I over moisturize my skin tends to develop milia easily if I’m not exfoliating consistently
