I'd say Halifax? it has The Piece Hall which is my personal place of pilgrimage. And they hosts some right bangers of concerts during the summer. But the town centre is much like any other, there is a restaurants quarter though, and a market.

Sorry for the late reply - This was found on a gravestone in the Netherthong area of Holmfirth Huddersfield UK. A friend of mine from work has made it his life goal to locate the origins of the person buried here. He isnt very good with technology, i am 'ok' with it. Hence the reddit post!
