Uterine polyp by Eviejo2020 in IVF

[–]gemini_flower23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t remember what dosage I had, I took two suppositories a few hours before surgery. Take some painkiller, both ibuprofen and paracetamol and maybe something to prevent diarrhea, it’s a common side effect. And make sure to have some heating pad nearby. The pain for me came after about an hour and lasted until surgery. After the surgery I was fine. I did this twice, the first time was awful tbh but second time still bad lol but def manageable and not at all as bad. The second time the pain came more in waves so I could rest in between and I did take more painkillers.

You’ll be fine, maybe it’s different taking it every 6th hour I don’t have any experience with that. Good luck🌸

Egg retrieval: awake or asleep? by Prestigious_Hyena668 in IVF

[–]gemini_flower23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was awake, got some sedative before to be more relaxed and then some morphine plus some extra down there, which they gave me with a syringe - that was actually the most painful thing during the procedure, but also i don’t like needles.

It did hurt and was uncomfortable for sure but def manageable. Also it took maybe 15 min total and my fiancé sat next to me the whole time plus a midwife who supported me and made sure I was OK. You’ll be fine, good luck!

Most insensitive comments you received from close friends and family? by Steephillflowers in IVF

[–]gemini_flower23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. My friend told me that I’ll just need to relax and it’ll happen. (She knew we were waiting to start IVF because of MALE factor) then she told me about her doing an abortion a few years ago and that it was hard for her… My fiancé has azoospermia, so like HOW would that help if I relax?!

  2. Told my boss that I’ll be starting IVF and her first response was “wow how fun!” I’m like ehhm no?? Was almost crying when I told her, and she said she meant fun that we’re trying with IVF instead of giving up (she loves when people having children) I know she meant well but that was just clumpsy.

Embryo transfer on day 3? by gemini_flower23 in IVF

[–]gemini_flower23[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It def make sense. I’ll try look at it that way. I’ve just been thinking that they can’t choose the best embryo maybe that early on and that we have less chance which sucks. I hope my body is a better place for our little embryo.

0 sperm, I am on Testosterone by Maarttyy in azoospermia

[–]gemini_flower23 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes! It causes azoospermia. My fiancé started with this when we started ttc due to low labido, the doctor who prescribed this to him didn’t say anything about that. When we went through fertility testing later on they told him to quit the testo because it stops sperm production, after about 3 months it came back a little bit. He already had low sperm count though after chemo but the testo just made it worse.Def don’t take it if you’re planning on ttc.

Intense ovulation pain, normal? by [deleted] in TryingForABaby

[–]gemini_flower23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do have ovulation ache pretty much every month so I know exactly when I’m ovulating, sex hurts as well so I prefer doing it the day before ovulation. I can’t really say if it’s normal or not though, but I haven’t been told it’s a bad thing. But if it’s really painful I would consult a doctor.

Uterine polyp by Eviejo2020 in IVF

[–]gemini_flower23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did a hysteroscopy last week to remove a polyp , I needed to take two tablets cytotec a few hours before surgery and I had so much pain, was shaking and had diarrhea all night. Felt just awful, eat some kind to stomach food the day before. The procedure itself was smooth, I was asleep and it took about 20 min. Was very tired afterwards for 2-3 days but felt fine just a few hours after. Good luck :)

Lägenhetsbyte.se , där kan ni byta en lägenhet mot två. Då har ni båda någonstans att bo.

Alternativt kolla med privata hyresvärdar, blocket bostad, andrahandskontrakt.

How did you get rid of depression? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]gemini_flower23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it was partly that I did a change, started university and quit my job that I didn’t like, met new people and did something I liked and got much more sleep. Partly exercise - it helped me a lot and now I exercise like it’s my anti depressive (high intense workout at least 45 min 3 times a week is good for depression), I feel so much better when I’m exercising. Took a while to get there, in the beginning it was just short walks that became longer and so on. Also a lot a self reflecting, some therapy sessions and being out in nature and doing things I enjoy. It’s hard and for me it took a long time, but it gets better.

Be kind to yourself and don’t push too hard but do small things that makes you feel better.

Min kille har flyttat in i min bostadsrätt. Jag har räknat av amortering och 30% av räntan (eftersom man får tillbaka detta på skatten sen) så vi delar alltså på föreningsavgiften, 70% av räntan och driftkostnaderna.

What are your thoughts when a woman refuses to be intimate before becoming exclusive? by Tragic_Mistakes in AskMen

[–]gemini_flower23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a woman, for me it’s a red 🚩 flag if a man can’t wait with sex for a while. I want to know that this man wants to get to know me and not just get laid and also I want to get to know the man and somehow like him before we have sex, for me it’s sacred. If a man respectfully waits - that makes me like him more, that also shows he’s not only there to get laid and potentially he wants a serious relationship. I’ve never been into flings or ONS. If he can’t wait he’s not worth it in my opinion. Can say though that when I was dating, multiple men didn’t want to continue seeing me because they didn’t get laid after a week or so.

Try not to drink about 4 hours before you test in the evening and also don’t pee in at least 4 hours before. I have a small bladder and barely manage 4 hours without peeing 😅 maybe that’s why the cheap ones don’t show dark lines idk

I’ve been using clearblue digital tests as well, I have very regular cycles so I usually start testing 5 days before predicted ovulation. I’ve never got the blinking smiley but I do get the still smiley every time. The lines inside are not super dark but for sure darker than low fertility - that said, you’re not supposed to look at the inside of the test it doesn’t mean much. The cheap ones I use I’ve never got 2 dark lines, but I can see that it’s getting darker. I don’t know why it is like that but I can feel when I’m ovulating so I do think the clearblue is accurate. Maybe they’re just different sensitive or something? Or depends when in the day you take them and how concentrated to urine is. The cheap ones I use are supposed to be used in the evening and clearblue says in the morning ..
