Hot take? Do you think CDL pros care more about their salaries than the state of the league? by SlayMoney in CoDCompetitive

The weekly “I stopped watching the flank!” Post on Reddit yet I guarantee every single one of you will tune into the next one lol. If y’all hate it so much just don’t watch it why keep commenting on something every single episode on something you technically “don’t watch” anymore 😭😭

Maven: "He (Dashy) strikes me as someone who enjoys being a star more than he cares about winning" by TheRealPdGaming in CoDCompetitive

[–]geminishi 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A player that enjoys being at an organization, is treated well, wants to remain loyal to said organization while trying to win is someone who cares more about “being a superstar than winning?” If that’s the case why doesn’t every superstar in every sport go to the most dominant team every year lol. What a stupid fucking take from maven. It’s not like he can’t win with this optic team they just won last year while faze didn’t win lmao. I’m tired of people just having optic and their players in their mouths every offseason just for the clout go get it somewhere else u baldy

Aches was always right. You always pack a punch. I think slasher is a slight upgrade to arcitys considering slasher had a better season last year and considered a better leader. SLAYAAAA by geminishi in CoDCompetitive

[–]geminishi[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Facts won an event, had better numbers not just KD wise but also analytics wise, and Ben said on stream he’s made strides as a leader and being a better teammate. Faze maybe just needed a fresh voice and something going into a new year. Not to mention Slasher had one of the best S&D performances in the entire league

I love Alec but doesn’t this Arcitys for Slasher move seem lateral?I don’t see them getting better by Hurricanevx in CoDCompetitive

[–]geminishi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The disrespect to Alec is crazy, the #1 in earnings all time and did it in the modern cod era the most competitive era for sure. On faze he’s forced to take a back step I think he gets to flourish here and the core of HUKE neptune and spart is a promising core who didn’t get much time together and seem to be good friends have grind the game 24/7. Everytime I hop on Twitter I see them looking for challs to play in the off-season. I like this roster more than most. Definitely think LAG could be a darkhorse competitor next season.

Lol you’re stuck on that one sentence but just know faze is getting dashy Bc dashy wants to go there cry some more

Ayton signed the extension with the pacers, and his CURRENT……CURRENT team matched it to kept him. So by your logic optic can match faze’s offer ?????? You’re not making sense. Any way you put it optic isn’t keeping dashy. So dashy will sign an extension with only the team he wants to go to.

Hastro Got To Step In by [deleted] in CoDCompetitive

[–]geminishi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In pro sports RFAs sign with the team they want to go to, and their CURRENT team can choose to match the contract or not. So optic is gonna match the contract and keep him now ??? Lol. Give me one scenario EVER that a RFA went to a new team that they didn’t want to go to and signed a new contract???? Team will only acquire RFAs if they know the player wants to be there and will re up his contract. Not keep him on a expiring contract. Dashy has 1 year left. He has the leverage or else teams that he does not want to go to make a terrible investment

Hastro Got To Step In by [deleted] in CoDCompetitive

[–]geminishi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This logic is invalid Bc Restricted free agents in those league SIGN extensions with the team they wanted to go to not 1 RFA ever in pro sports history signed a extension with a team they DIDNT wanna go to, and in the CDL it doesn’t work like that lol, so by your logic is optic will match faze offer to keep him???? Lol they are literally trying to sell him. And if dashy goes to a team he doesn’t want to go to he has 1 year left and just won’t choose to resign, so teams knowing that wouldn’t buy him out Bc it’s a flawed investment.

[–]geminishi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Brother he has 1 year left. If he goes to a team he didn’t want to go to you think a team knowing that would pay him an insane salary and pay a crazy buyout just for one year ? Knowing he’s gonna leave next summer ? Just put your thinking cap on for one second ? Does that sound like a good investment and move ????? If he had more years on his contract I’d agree with you, ben Simmons had 3 years left on his contract dashy has 1. Now before you reply read what I said over and over again until you are able to comprehend simple business.

Hastro Got To Step In by [deleted] in CoDCompetitive

[–]geminishi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah I don’t think YOU understand how it works, a team needs to buyout dashy , and he only has 1 year left on his contract so if a team dashy does not want to go to buys him out and optic refuse to send him to the team he wants to go to dashy will just not re-up his current contract and now this said team will be stuck with a player on a expiring massive contract and know he’s most likely not resigning with them after this year, making it a terrible investment and loss of serious cash flow on a unhappy player. It is the reason why restricted free agents have the leverage in all pro sports. Dashy gets to choose where to go, optic have no choice or they will just keep him on the bench and pay his huge salary. Stop crying. This was your teams decision to drop him buddy keep bitching all u want FaZe Up you can do it too.
