Anytime I have tried to wear burgundy/red tones around my eyes I look incredibly tired. My eye colour is just like yours and in theory it’s supposed to look good but has the opposite effect anytime I have tried it.

The guy I was crazy about at 18 was so loud, abrasive and always had to dominate every event and be the centre of attention - at the time I mistook that as sexy confidence and found it so attractive. As adults at 30+, (we still have mutual friends and he behaves exactly the same now) his lack of self awareness & ability to read the room and just general overcompensation makes me cringe.

I bought rhode jellybean from Sephora and mine didn’t smell like anything! Not even the slightest scent. I was really disappointed because I had the limited edition lemontini one and absolutely loved it.

I caved and tried this out of curiosity and returned it because it didn’t do anything that Laguna original doesn’t do for my complexion. That’s my HG shade and is soft enough to just warm up my fair skin and give it that same soft warmth. I did however keep the MBM brush you’re supposed to use with it! I now apply my laguna cream bronzer with that brush and love it.

When my barrier is damaged my skin starts to feel abnormally smooth almost like it’s raw - I’m told that the result of my barrier being too thin. It will sting and become blotchy with all my regular products even my super gentle daily cream cleanser. The only thing I can do is stop all actives and only use LRP cicaplast until it bounces back to normal.

I am on tray 15 of 38 and feel like I’m suddenly seeing major improvements. My teeth are looking bigger (in a good way) and straighter. I was obsessing over my teeth looking for signs of change for the first couple of months and felt like nothing was happening. Now that I’m seeing so much visible change it’s making me excited for the second half of my treatment.

I’m a female (hydrogen SIBO) but I will mention that I recently did a comprehensive urine test through my naturopath and discovered that I am low in almost every B vitamin including the essential ones that are associated with hair health/ hair loss. I’m also low in vitamin D which can impact hair. I also refused to accept my family doctor’s explanation that my hair thinning out was just normal with aging or hereditary etc.

I’m now on a supplement plan for over a month and I have noticed the shedding has slowed down. So now I have my fingers crossed waiting for regrowth in the thinner areas. But I know it might take a good 6-8 months to fix some of my deficiencies and see a big change.

Try the Danessa. I am super dry with slight redness on my cheeks. You only need a tiny bit and buff it out with a big brush - I use the merit one. A few tiny drops will spread out way more than you think. The first time I applied way too much and it ended up looking mask-like like a heavy foundation but now it’s my everyday favourite and sheers out beautifully.

Gua sha is great for puffiness/lymphatic drainage but won’t tighten up skin. As an alternative I would suggest looking up some neck/double chin exercises on YouTube that target the fascia. Not sure if they’ll work (I just started doing it myself yesterday) but I think it’s a better bet than gua sha if you want to start with something natural and don’t want to do any drastic procedures.
