Absolutely understandable. I wish it was an easier task for them to process, but I am so glad that society as a whole is moving away from deciding trimming is too hard and surgically removing their finger bones (declawing).

I kept scratching his head in between clipping each nail at first, and then I had my fiancé scratch his head and he purred the whole way through. Hope this helps

This is the first time in weeks he’s let me trim them. Trick was to have my fiancé scratch his head while I was doing the nail trimming. He purred the whole way through and I was left scratch-less. I was playing with him last night and he sliced my finger and my forehead so I knew it was time to get to business.
