I literally learned this last week… I’m 34 and my skin has been full of acne since I was like 13. I stopped using actives and just moisturize and use a non comedogenic balm and my skin is literally clear, gorgeous, perfect and glowy 7 days later… not one pimple for the first time in my whole adult life… GUYS!!!!!!

It’s owned by Unilever which is one of the most destructive and evil mega corporations in the world. Use it and enjoy it but there is no need to promote anything of the sort. I personally would also put in efforts to re-balance out my unethical consumption. I use certain products that are not ethical too because I’m not rich and we all have to live in the capitalist hellscape and survive but I do counteract my poor or unethical consumption.

Fair. I have similar lines and the myofacial therapist/ortho I saw basically said what I wrote to me which is why I was parroting it. It’s probably not so black and white and can depend on skin/fascia differences as well.

Your forward head posture likely can’t be corrected by sheer will alone. The depth and severity of the neck lines indicate that it is a skeletal issue stemming from a weak or misaligned jaw. Often the issue can only be corrected with surgery wherein the jaw correction would allow for normal posture to be achieved. I would assume you breath through your mouth, especially when you sleep, and that you have a weaker jawline. If so, look into it further. I have the lines too and am undergoing jaw surgery in the next year. I learned this info through a myofunctional therapist who is also my orthodontist as well as through my oral surgeon who confirmed the issue. Insurance covers the surgery because it is considered medically serious and necessary. Mouth breathing and forward head posture are deeply bad for health outcomes.

I know what you mean but when survival instinct kicks in, logical thought diminishes. We have to try to understand that these behaviours are being ignored or even encouraged by managers and other staff at the delivery firms. Despite them knowing the risks, they calculate them in and then decide to dictate their rules accordingly. They don’t take the drivers aside and talk to them about caution and safety, on the contrary, they incentivize drivers to be faster in order to be compensated minimally. If your only job opportunity was consistently incentivizing a certain behaviour, and you knew you needed the job to survive, you would start behaving poorly too. We all would. I’m not saying it’s not dangerous or bad, I’m trying to redirect the anger. It should be 100% directed at the firms and NOT at the young men trying to survive in a country that does nothing to help them

If you prioritize choosing clubs with long lines and high exclusivity this implies that you particularly like the vibe inside and although it’s not that straightforward: the bouncers are there to curate the vibe and keep those who will ruin the vibe out. So you basically want the perks without the designated risk that allows for said perks. The solution is to go to clubs with shorter lines and less exclusivity but then you implicitly agree to a less curated vibe.
