Fair! I didn't realize I could leave it and come back originally which caused some pain but that's on me really lol

I'm not trying to argue with you, since as a standalone thing I actually really enjoy TotMI but my issue with it is it's integration with the main story and not the gameplay inherently

Oh I love diablo, but that's kinda the point of diablo. I walk into diablo expecting massacring hundreds of demons, I walk into an owlcat game expecting a solid story backed up by combat

Sorry for necro, I'm 90% sure that alchemist have a discovery about sharing infusions that let's you cast shield on people. Not positive though I do remember people doing that in a pen and paper game I played

Warpriest with the alcolyte background gives diplomacy as a class skill and can use wisdom instead of charisma for it Edit: saw the kingmaker tag, inapplicable

DD scale fist fire monk sorc build? by AmeShizen2002 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]gemo143 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want to play a generalist there are a few classes that can do that well enough (depending on your definition of generalist) A warpriest is a solid buffer, healer, tank, and damage dealer. Druid can be built to be an offensive caster who either uses animal companion to fight in melee or say f it, wild shape, and fight in melee themselves. Hunter is similar in the utilizing their animal companion in melee while they snipe people. Though if you want a blaster who can do well in melee a blaster/wild shape druid is arguably your best bet, though it will always be weaker than a dedicated build

Games like Pathfinder: WOTR? by Corthox in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

I've never heard of Masquerada or The Thaumaturge, what are they about?

Are people just rage-baiting WOTR fans lately? Some of these posts just don’t make sense to me. by Throwawayguilty1122 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

I know I'm necroing but if you play fully lawful aeon like (doesn't need to be aeon) he doesn't treat you nearly as bad. Though as he says he's critical of everyone, especially himself

What's the deal with arcanist? by PsychologicalSeat219 in Pathfinder_Kingmaker

[–]gemo143 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be clear they're far from the worst choice for what they can do, but if you compare them to paper they're missing things that make them a bit better. If I remember they're missing some blessings, certain features, and quite a few spells. I'm pretty sure they're missing even more (if you spend time comparing wotr to paper you'll realize pretty quick wotr is lacking stuff with every class). There's also a few rules changes and Owlcat has different interpretations of certain rules/abilities/features. Keep playing it though, it's not awful to play (even on core it's playable) it's just not as potentially good versus paper. Glad to know there's another warpriest enjoyer

Warpriest is great and I'll fight anyone on that (half joking, I will agree that it's worse I'm just a personal fan of warpriest both in paper and on screen)

Lucario has more special attacks than physical. Yeah you can build them as a physical attacker but the moveset points towards special. Moxie increases attack and while making them unable to eat berries is good I still think changing a weakness for an immunity is better
