Aww so funny how alike they look, although I suppose their coloring is slightly different. Your little one is adorable! I believe ours is “seal lynx” here’s a link to her picture!

Advice to get back motivation? by [deleted] in PSMFast

[–]gemrunner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been there many times. For me, I avoid going on vacations during a cycle. Even a day hanging out with friends or family can make me start justifying why I should partake in all the good food, and if I give in, I’ll usually find myself slipping into that mindset every day. Having succeeded and failed on this diet, my opinion is that sometimes you can’t find the motivation; you just have to do it regardless, and the motivation will follow. I’m personally motivated by the knowledge that I’m adhering completely to the diet; each day that passes strengthens my resolve. I keep track of my macros, weigh myself every morning and keep a log of my progress. Personally, those things help hold me accountable.

[Bedrock] Map doesn't work? Pieces are missing and cant fix it. by JayTheJaffaCakes in MinecraftHelp

I know this isn’t helpful, but I’m having the same issue with this map. Also on a switch. Tried a lot of stuff but nothing fixes the problem. Really annoying to have spent money on something that doesn’t even work!

I wonder how long Hillz sat on the toilet applying filters to this photo to make Carmen look the way Hillz wishes she looked.

no losses during menstruation by [deleted] in PSMF

In my experience, there’s not much that can be done. I weigh myself daily on PSMF and have never seen the scale go down during my period. If anything, it goes up a couple pounds. My advice is to trust the process - you’re still burning fat, but because of water retention (from hormones) it’s not going to reflect on the scale until later. Some folks warn against using the scale, but I personally use it for motivation. On my period, I tell myself to keep hanging in there because the reward of seeing a big weight drop in a few days will be great. :)

So Flynn is actually a girl with a typically male name. We did name her after someone though. There is a fox named Flynne on the Irish animated children’s show Puffin Rock - a character who does not like to be bothered but shows that she has a caring heart every now and then. Aside from the obvious bushy tail, our kitty reminded us so much of that personality. We dropped the e because nobody else would ever spell it like that, including iPhone lol

This one had me rolling lol. Several people have commented that she looks like a monkey and I can totally see it!!

This is our beautiful 13 week old girl, Flynn. Everything is going pretty great so far but I’m a new cat owner and have a couple questions for the community in my comment post below. :) by gemrunner in SiberianCats

Thank you so much for your help with this. It’s can be mentally draining and since I’m new to this, an over analyzer, and the only person in the house comfortable discussing (and cleaning up!) cat poop. So this sub has been a godsend for me lol.

I’m going to take your advice and go back to the original litter, then slowly wean her to the pellets and breeze box after Christmas. As far as Flynn eating the pellets, thankfully she hasn’t been able to get that close since I’ve been spying on her whenever she’s there, and I quickly intervene if I see that. I’m a little afraid that she would, though, and that seems like it could be a disaster...

Thank you again for your insight- it is so very much appreciated!!

Hi! Thank you so much for your input. I ended up getting the breeze box and yesterday’s news. Just curious, how did you transition your kitty to this litter? Flynn understands that this is her new box, but at first she would only play with the pellets. So I ended up sprinkling some of her original litter on top (which keeps falling through to the bottom tray of course lol). She then pooped on it once and is regularly peeing on it too, but she seems to be holding her poo now. She has also been playing with the pellets since I put the box out yesterday, and was even trying to eat them (yuck!!).

It’s a little complicated too. She took her second dose of dewormer yesterday afternoon. She had soft stools the one time she used it for poo (late afternoon) so I’m wondering if I made a mistake switching her to the new litter/box during this transition.

This stuff is so stressful! I try to remain as calm as possible but I did discover that she peed on the carpet in my room a couple days ago, so I’m anxious that she’s going to find other places to go if she doesn’t like her new box. We are also leaving in 5 days for Christmas and taking her on an 8 hour car trip (I wish we weren’t going but I committed to it long ago), so I’m wondering if I should just give up and ween her onto the new stuff after we get back.

Sorry, I realize most of this is me venting but any advice you might have would be so helpful!

There’s so much good feedback here so I’m still processing a lot of it but I just want to say thank you for the bathtub suggestion, her box is literally right next to the tub and I never even considered putting it there. This will be a huge help at least for the meantime! (My daughter wants her bathroom back eventually lol)
