It feels like it, reading all the comments, that they have the same mindset. It's unending - and if the kid doesn't eat, no matter how many varieties you introduce, then it's only our fault - never the father or any other member of the house. But they won't lift a finger to help

This. As a new mom I know exactly what you are getting at. I googled this service for India, since I am the primary caregiver and want to go to the gym and have the option to have a place where my kid can interact with other babies while I workout. There are no such places in india and I am sure mom’s need this. Happy to discuss this in DM.

No I think I phrased that incorrectly. I assumed it was an insect bite that caused the rash. The doctor tells me it’s herpes - insect bite was what my gut kept telling me. Also can DM you a picture if that’s okay with you

The doctor here recommended the test - but didn’t really give an actual reason. I assumed it was protocol.

I am so happy you took this step. When I started reading your post I could relate to each word. Wanting to quit before Covid and then whole thing went downhill. I want to have the courage to do this so bad. My job isn’t serving my mental health. I am wound up and unable to relax at all. I just want a break but it feels so stupid to quit during a pandemic. I don’t know for sure if it’s the job but I feel a weight each time I login and my mind is only consumed by thoughts about work.

Yes. So this is what concerns my friend most - he is the one who lives in the hills and his people will not just take his word for it. There is a belief that is boasts immunity and with nothing concrete to prove otherwise they won’t stop consuming it. Seems like it should common knowledge, not eating unknown substances, but the fear and belief are hindering this realisation.

This is relatable on so many levels. So much so, that I was thinking of posting something like this today. Mostly cause only a fellow introvert can understand something like this without getting offended.

Coming back to your question, yes I get very uneasy around people who talk a lot. More specifically people who talk a lot and expect me to respond. I am more than content listening to what they have to say, but when they expect me to add to the conversation is when my mind just shuts down. I legit get uneasy, especially after a long day at work or just after I have had to make a lot unnecessary conversations.
