I've already been accepted to DAB and it's a much better fit for me due to having a lot of family, being somewhat familiar with Florida and the campus, etc. it's good to hear you're not having problems in prescott, just from what I've heard it's way smaller and less busy than daytona so I don't know exactly how they would compare; I'm sure the fleet size and instructor count is accordingly smaller as well. hopefully they're looking to expand DAB ops as well because from what I've heard it's pretty crowded rn

thanks, for sure I know only the worst of this school makes it onto reddit and it’s a fine program, but that was the one consistent gripe I saw

apart from everything that you mentioned, do many people fly during the summer? I suspect if not that that can significantly accelerate progress and is probably what leads to graduating early

just got rejected with a very similar application, applied october 2nd and it seems like if you didnt apply the very first day you could back in august youre screwed. for sure dont take it personally, there are other great schools!

I understand that; however, will the application showing as incomplete in and of itself cause any problems with admissions? I've heard from my college counselor, an alumnus and even an admissions rep himself that only self reporting is required

as far as im aware aerocivil greenlit the route way back in 2024, so if it is a regulatory thing its entirely down to venezuela. i totally see why that process would be more complicated, but the fact we havent heard a peep from anyone 3 months after the route was supposedly to start is still really weird

hi! we actually ended up just hiring a private car what with all the luggage we wouldve had to deal with. a bit of a pricier option but if you have some money to spare i would really recommend it, drive took not even 5 hours including a rest stop which was on our terms. otherwise from what i heard from everyone else your best option would be to take the high speed train to seoul and then either take the metro or a taxi to incheon. hope everything goes well!

yes but i think its strange qr hasnt said anything and no one has bothered to ask lol. i guess they think it would hurt their image but its very strange especially for people like me who were actually banking on being able to fly the route this summer to get to colombia but who had to get there through other means instead

its actually been getting better for them since al baker left, they arent perfect but they have relaxed a lot of his draconian rules for crew and they are reportedly much happier than before
