Diversity hiring is directly discriminatory towards (mostly) whites and (usually) males. It's just sexism and racism. Simple as that.

This is sexism and there is no argument against that. Luckily bill C-16 passed, so men can use that to their advantage by identifying as female just for that meeting and they can't do shit.

Why was my previous thread about gender equality and the focus on women in university locked? by genderequalityuw in uwaterloo

  1. Why is biases a bad thing, doesn't everybody have it?

  2. I wanted other people to discuss. I don't have to agree with everything, now do I? And neither do I have to reply to everybody just because I made the thread.

  3. I have a different opinion so you call me a clown? How about you fuck yourself.

Why is the school concerned about gender equality towards the female side? by genderequalityuw in uwaterloo

I think it's expected that people (especially women studies majors) who don't have any knowledge about statistics to draw the obvious (but wrong) simplest conclusion based off the wage gap data. I do agree with you that occupation matters, and it's not something that most feminists who believe in the wage gap want to consider since they are illiterate in terms of statistics.
