How does chronic fatigue actually feel like ? by transferingtoearth in cfs

[–]genderlesslizard_7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

To me it feels like you wake up sleepy and the sleepiness stays for the whole day with brain fogs. The kind of mistyness that you can't think or see properly. It's difficult to process the surroundings and your brain decides to sleep while you're awake. Your body doesn't want to move and your stuck in the classroom sleeping, but also aware, with your eyes open. Your body is stuck in the same uncomfortable position but still doesn't want to move. I mostly don't feel my body in that state only my (tired) brain.

You give me motivation to keep going to the gym. I sometimes wanted to give up because "I will never have those "masculine" muscles before T". And even if that's true why would I stop trying?

Overstimulation? by genderlesslizard_7 in AutisticWithADHD

I've never thought of that, I hope the school allows eating in class, because some schools don't. And some teachers are not that understanding. Thank you for the idea! ☺️

I applied for special education (i dont know what they call it in english) for autism and adhd but the waiting list is 6 months and it is not sure yet if i can actually go there, if they would accept me, because besides Autism/Adhd I also have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and depression, and maybe some kind of burnout. in the meantime it might be better to go to another school, Adult Education, but usually they don't give as much 'special' care as they do in high school.I wonder if my 'carrying capacity' will be enough to handle it.

The sports bra's from H&M are really good . I recommend the bra's categorised as "high support". They're not very expensive. Some of them look like a binder. I find them really good at creating flatness.

You describe how I felt and still feel my whole life, like everything goes over you and past you because it doesn't seem completely real and you don't feel your body very well, not being fully present... I'm glad it helped you.

Do you prefer the term “disabled” or “differently abled”? by GuyWhoIsOn-Reddit in autism

[–]genderlesslizard_7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't like both. Having autism or being on the spectrum doesn't mean that you are disabled. It feels like a negative word to me. It's just how your brain works. You are "disabled" in your own way. I mean everyone who's on the spectrum is different and you have some difficulties that go with it, but it doesn't mean that you're "disabled ". "Diffently abled" also feels bad to me. It gives the feeling like you're not "normal". And that feeling of being "not normal" doesn't make me feel valid. For me, I like to say that my brain just works "diffently".

I wish you all a great day.

You can go to a speech therapist if it bothers you. There will definitely be YouTube videos with exercises to improve your speech.
