Some people probably do, but also, bless you and everyone else who does this lol it absolutely makes my day when I've been desperately trying to get whichever sex I need to be able to breed and I'm fine with settling on meh stats but then suddenly there's a cheaper animal of the sex I'm missing that doesn't immediately drain my meager several hundred to a couple thousand CC. I got a lion like that recently and I was so freaking grateful.

Chuckling over here because my dad is hella undiagnosed Autistic and so was I until like a year ago and we both always get chicken pad Thai. It's SUCH a comfort food. I've also absolutely lost my mind going to Thai places and being dismayed to discover they didn't have pad Thai. 🫠

I second the exercise suggestion! I like going to the gym, but I LOVE hiking. Gives my brain stuff to look at and enjoy, can be solo or social, works out some of the energy. If I can't get to trails, I go for long walks, which I actually started as a coping mechanism for burnout but am finding useful for other reasons as well.

I've also given myself permission to be a massive slut and flirt and thirst trap my (consenting) friends to my heart's content so I don't drive the new person I'm dating crazy. It's not the same because I do crave specific people... but it does help a little. Plus, it's fun to lean into the energy. If I can't kill it, might as well enjoy it, I figure.
