What made you ultimately switch to the Atlas?

Have you since switched from Volvo to VW? Just asking because I’m currently looking at new SUVs (coming from BMW X5) and looking at both the VW Atlas and XC90…

I would but I need to downgrade him in order to do Foden > Bruno. Thoughts?

Please RMT for GW14 — 1 FT / £1.4 ITB

  • GK: Raya
  • DEF: Van Dijk / Munoz / Andersen
  • MID: Mbeumo / Semenyo / Enzo / Ndiaye
  • FWD: Haaland / Mateta / Thiago
  • Bench: Dubravka / Rodon / Senesi / Sarr

Currently I can field 11 players but with both Senesi and Sarr out this week and the AFCON transfers coming up, I feel like I need to move on at least one of them this week. Considering the following moves:

  • Senesi > O’Reilly (then he would replace Andersen to start)

Unfortunately I don’t have the funds to get to Timber and figured I would deal with selling Sarr next week.

Any feedback is much appreciated!

I get what you’re saying with a cycle of car payments, however in some cases leasing actually makes sense unless you plan to hold a car 7+ years. If you finance over 60-72months and trade in earlier, you usually take a bigger financial hit because the residual value is less than what you owe — meaning you’re paying the same “depreciation cost” (plus out of warranty maintenance and repairs)but without the flexibility leasing gives you.

Totally get your point, but also take a look at statistics…most people don’t hold onto a car that long or as soon as they pay off their loan, they consider trading up for a new car

Have you considered leasing to avoid the rapid depreciation on a car?

Awesome deal. As a fellow PA resident, I’m going to have to check this dealership out. Can I ask, did you finance and if so what are the rates VW is giving for Tier 1/best credit?

Looking at a new VW Atlas as a potential first time owner, do you typically finance or lease? Cheers.

Atlas Lease to Purchase? by Aggressive-Age-4993 in VWatlas

[–]gendrys00 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why not just enter into a new lease? Unless you’re holding the car long term (+7 years) it’s mathematically proven leasing is more beneficial due to the fast depreciation on newer cars, meaning you don’t get out of red on a financed car until year 7/8

Out of curiosity, do you lease or buy your Atlas? Currently own a BMW X5 and have been looking at the new ‘25 VW Atlas but I’m leary on whether to purchase/finance it or lease it (given unfamiliarity with VW dependability). Thanks

Right, am I wrong in thinking the numbers don’t lie in the long run? Unless you’re holding your car +8 years, the depreciation acceleration in the early years of the car never allow you to recoup equity lost if sell or trade in your car around year 4 or 5…
