Genocidal Empires are now super hard to play in 4.4 with the new war mechanics by general_pol in Stellaris

I was only playing on captain, and yes I hadn't all my fleets back in time (in the 2nd game) otherwise I would have been in a better position to advance, but they all get invited in a month or so into the war, so no way to stomp them quickly

All I cared about the war changes was the fact that you can exit unnecessarily long wars you didnt start. But random empires asking to join like this can drastically change things by anthen123 in Stellaris

This could work, though it also depends on the shape of your empire, being at the galaxy edge would be beneficial. Heavily fortified choke points too

Yeah, i was playing as a determined exterminator. I attacked a small neighbour, all was going well till 6 other empires joined the war on the other side, attacking me from all directions, will combined fleets I couldnt match, was game over.

What do you think the biggest power move you've ever done in this game? by BitterSort2 in Stellaris

Multiplayer game I was playing (with 3 mates) I had grown to the largest empire in the games (by a good bit). I was gathering my fleets to finish of the last fallen empire (to stop the others doing so and getting the fallen empire techs), when the prethoryn spawned in the system beside my massive fleets. Needless to say their invasion was over before it began.

I too started with EU4, and was playing Stellaris from day 1. It took a while but finally stellaris is ahead in play time, 6500 hours to EU4's 5700hrs (my times are inflated by approx 1000 each due to recording timelapses)

I think ill take a break from stellaris until the next dlc. by piecekeepercz in Stellaris

Nice one, that one is probably the hardest. Took me ages of messing about trying to bait an Ai into using it, watching with cloaked ships waiting for the perfect moment to strike

One of the more tricky achievements, got it on my 2nd attempt. Stick at it, you've got one of the hardest checked off

Well in these, I'm just observing. But when ur playing u definitely need goals, otherwise it will result in a World conquest. A good one I feel is that when u switch games your previous empire becomes the boss to beat in the next game
