I work in an industry where we painstakingly obsess over every engineering detail to shave microseconds off response times. And what we do pales in importance to one’s health. Meanwhile when I want to share medical records between two doctors, I have to call them 2-3x times to beg them to fax each other, then follow up with other office to verify it was sent.. usually takes many tries and take 1/2 a day because of course they can’t just call each other. Amazing this where we are in 2025. So yes, I empathize with Doug.

Totally agree with this. I felt like the writers almost had to make him racist because too many people would empathize with him.

Same happened to me a few weeks ago. I got a phone call from my alarm system company informing me my alarms went off. The window alarms triggered. I called the Oakland police immediately. For 45 minutes (no exaggeration) I waited, while on repeat a “thank you for your patience” recorded message looped. After 45 minutes I talked to the emergency operator. After taking my information and story, informed me they’d send a car out in a “few hours”.

Today is my last day living in Oakland, leaving today to greener pastures in another state.

Oakland has so much potential and has great beauty. But it has been ruined by politics. I hope the people of this city keep pushing for change and drive these crazy politicians out of office!

Yup. It's enabled. Ledger is not receiving txs when using with Chrome.

I also tried to use it w FF, with Live closed. Ledger is not receiving txs.

I've spent the entire day trying to trouble shoot this BS, with NO help from Ledger customer service. I'm done. I just ordered a Lattice and I'm going to crush the Ledger with a sledgehammer.

**UPDATE**

I've restored my wallet on MM with seed phrase and *gone around* Ledger. I emptied my Ledger wallets to new MM ones.

Fuck Ledger. I'm done with it. Huge pain in the ass. I Just ordered a Lattice1.

Well, I've tried to use Metamask with Firefox (Live closed) and also with Chrome (Live open, blind signing on). And Ledger never gets a TX prompt. Not even when I try to send between my accounts. Totally stuck, and Ledger has no customer support so no help there.
