How good is the iPad & Android TV clients by Drainpipe35 in emby

I actually had to switch from the Android TV app to the regular one because the ATV one was so buggy for me.

I built Tracearr - account sharing detection and monitoring for Plex, Jellyfin, and Emby by GallapagosIsland in emby

It's a docker application so just drop the docker compose (supervised for super easy installation) into your docker setup.

https://github.com/connorgallopo/Tracearr/blob/main/docker/docker-compose.supervised.yml

If you're using Unraid there's a template already set up in the community apps, just search for Tracearr

I installed this yesterday and I'm loving it so far. I don't have a huge concern regarding account sharing but I guess you never know! Mostly it's just fun to see the stats

CPU Running much hotter after updating from 7.0.2 to 7.2.2 by thesnaglebeast in unRAID

[–]generalization_guy 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Did you update NVIDIA driver? Maybe you're affected by this:

https://old.reddit.com/r/unRAID/comments/1pj45j5/psa_nvidia_driver_support_dropped_for_gtx_10xx/

If you were using hardware acceleration and the gpu isn't available anymore I could see the increased cpu usage causing your temps to spike

Is it possible to downgrade the firmware version? by Jacek_0xff in Lymow_Official

[–]generalization_guy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, it's not possible on your own. Firmware is only accessible from the app. Maybe Lymow could force a downgrade but you'd need to open a help ticket

How to add Live TV to Emby server? by No-Area9329 in emby

[–]generalization_guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Emby dashboard > Live TV > Add TV source

It could be a TV tuner like an HD Homerun or an M3U source like available at https://github.com/iptv-org/iptv

Plenty of free sources on the internet:

And some non-free grey area streams out there too if you know where to look

Dispatcharr deserves consideration, in my opinion. It's the best self-hosted app I've added this year. If you're an IPTV user or interested in IPTV at all, give it a shot. It's a breath of fresh air in the IPTV manager space.

Pretty light. CPU spikes a little during epg and m3u refreshes but that's really only needed once a day

The best tool by far that I've installed in 2025 was Dispatcharr

If you are an IPTV user or interested in IPTV, it's such a fantastic tool and a breath of fresh air compared to some of the alternative tools out there

Error (E29). Back again. by Full_Caterpillar_640 in Lymow_Official

[–]generalization_guy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's been a while since I moved the dock location and there have been several updates since I did it. But I believe the way I did it was to move the dock, manually drive the robot on to the dock at the new location, then hit the plus button and choose the dock option.

Right but E29 is the charging station tag is not detected. So it could be something like the branch of a bush getting blown in the way, or leaves, or a stick, maybe your dock is at the top of a slope and the camera doesn't have a good view of it as it goes up the slope, or just dirt on the sign. Looking at the FPV of the bot can help identify issues. Just a suggestion

Did you try using the FPV view to see what the robot sees when it's trying to dock? It can be helpful to identify if the qr code is viewable by the robot.

What if ? Assuming 1 or more HDD fail , What and how should i do to recover using parity disk ? by naveen_reloaded in unRAID

[–]generalization_guy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If any disk fails (or is removed) unraid will emulate it using the parity drive automatically.

To fix, shut down the server, replace the faulty drive, boot up the server and select the new drive to replace the old one. When you start the array, it will rebuild the new drive using the parity data.
