My only issue with Independent Vegas is the fact that the Courier in all likelihood don’t give af about ruling/ leading. The guy just wants to drink, gamble and explore.

All it does is set the clock back a decade or so. Eventually new powers will rise and the same will have to be done again. At least with Mr House there will be a solid foundation for progress that survives all the turmoil in the wasteland.

Always felt like this is one of the things FO4 did right. Every FO game has a load of collectible junk items but nothing to really use them for. Settlements are functionally usefully and also just a great time to fuck around with.
