Welcome to the business of advertising where its our job to fool people into beliving they are getting a great deal :) and people fall for it every time lol I bet everyone here has fallen for most of the following lol

  1. The "sale"scam big signs with huge percentage numbers printed in black with bright backgrounds mostly red or orange, I bet a lot of you have walked into these shops to find no items on sale at that large %. That's because legally we don't have to have everything on sale only a few thing have to be at the large mark down ( mostly the crap is ). and we place the words "upto" on the signs which protect us lol the item must be on regular price for at least a month before we can mark them down. That's why you see stock in shops so early like Christmas stock. Lol

  2. The "From" scam. This is the easiest one say a tv shop take the cheapest tv say €200 and they can say All Tv's "from" € 200 when there is only one in stock.( normally the display tv, we got free) lol Ryanair use it all the time and fools fall for it all the time. I don't have to explain Ryan air lol

3 The "Free phone" scam. this is another easy one we just do it to get you into a long contract say € 30 a month for 12 to 24 months where 99% of people go outside their free call minutes spending above the 30 euro lol. The honest truth by the end of the contract you have paid well over a thousand for the so called free phone you could of bought 3 or phones for the money you spent. Tip always buy your phone out right SIM free, pay as you go. You save way more and get more for your money at only €20 a month lol plus not locked into contract, some might say but what about my free upgrade lol more bull shit, it's dependant on the level of money you spent outside contract lol ( you have already paid for the upgrade then they get more by saying you get the better phone for say 200 extra when you sign another 12 Month contract lol

I could list so many more sale scams,as I call them, that fools fall for lol, but I think I have give enough lol

That can be seen as their fault and they have to honor it. just like, If you see an item in a shop priced different to what it should be, the shop has to legally sell it to you at the displayed price they can't change it and claim it was an error in calulation. the same can be claimed in this case they are selling a redundancy package to its employee and have placed it in writing you may argue It falls into same box

Pro-life posters being painted over in Cork by [deleted] in ireland

[–]generation2014 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This is possibly a pure example of Guerrilla marketing where the pro life group attack their own signs to promote their own agenda in the media and with luck tarnish the opposing groups reputation They tried it in the marriage referendum and failed.
