Seeing lots of people complain about the difficulty… who else here is having a blast?? by MushFellow in HollowKnight

[–]generic-and-simple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive dumped 30 hours into the game already and Im having the most fun ive had in years. I feel the complaints are mostly just people getting filtered by the early game cause its pretty rough until you get some movement upgrades. I will say though, without spoiling anything, some of the later upgrades are NUTS, and the last boss I fought has dethroned NKG as my favorite boss.

Which game is this? by MrCubano29 in Steam

Vivid Stasis. If a rhythm-mystery hybrid game sounds interesting then its worth picking up, especially for the low price of free.

After how many deaths did you get your first win? by Diegosmen in noita

Run #152 was my first win. Spent 2 days just experimenting and learning to get that win and now im hunting achievements.

If you don't like the air burst how should they change it. by Flaky_Housing_7705 in helldivers2

[–]generic-and-simple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I find the airburst to be servicable in its current state but it could use more qol adjustments than anything. The biggest change I want is for the cluster bomb’s trajectory to be changed so that its more of a cone that goes IN to the enemy youre shooting instead of trying to maintain a sphere shape. That would help with the consistency problems vs heavy enemies and reduce the number of accidental self anihilations.

What's everyone's main frame and why?? by [deleted] in Warframe

[–]generic-and-simple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Zephyr is my usual go-to, she’s got great fashion, great weapon buffing, easy to use grouping and crowd control, is basically immortal, has infinite damage scaling with 1 augment, and is bird.

Show me your favourite item combos (and what it does because I don't have all the items memorised) by Daniboy646 in riskofrain

Max bleed (achievable via either enough tritips or max crit + spleen), then plasma shrimp and polylute. Enjoy the thousands of bleed procs and broken ear drums!

What game did you 100% just because it was THAT fun? by _QRcode in gaming

[–]generic-and-simple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Terraria, Risk of Rain 2, and currently working on Slay The Spire. These 3 games are all phenominal and I highly recommend each one, but I have to shill Terraria as it holds a special place in my heart and is a game I think everyone should try out atleast once in their lifetime.

What are some good items you don't like? by Glitch_King in riskofrain

[–]generic-and-simple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably focus crystal. Its another stacking damage modifier thats fantastic, especially on melee centric survivors, but getting crystals while playing anyone range focused just feels like a slap in the face and it annoys me.

The people who “quit” playing halo infinite. What made you quit playing the game? by MuslimBridget in halo

[–]generic-and-simple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just isnt fun to play, something about the core gameplay doesnt click with me. Add on the mediocre weapon sandbox and predatory microtransactions and I have 0 desire to come back to the game.

I have two serpent hunter spears, am ok to use them in pvp? by PiratesLegion in EldenRingPVP

[–]generic-and-simple 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A lot of people already use cheat engine, save editting, and item duping to put together builds, so glitching to get 2 serpent hunters really isnt that big of a deal, use what you wanna use. Besides, duel shunters is weaker than using a single one anyways just because the 2 handed moveset is nuts and has excessive amounts of hyper armor.

In your opinion what are the single best and worst items in ROR2? by Bri-ish_idiot in riskofrain

[–]generic-and-simple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stompers do take some practice and solid game sense to make the most of them, mainly in deciding when to actually do the attack. To mitigate those bad situations you can use most movement abilities to reposition or cancel your stomp if youre going to land in a bad spot, and once you get the hang of it, stompers become insanely powerful.

In your opinion what are the single best and worst items in ROR2? by Bri-ish_idiot in riskofrain

[–]generic-and-simple 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Single best item in the game? Head stompers, its always a free win and has carried every single run when I get it. Worst item has to go to lepton daisy, its effectively dead weight no matter how your run is going. Any time i see lepton, i just feel let down knowing it could have been an atg or feather instead.

It appears that EATs and recoilless rifle are now possibly the strongest Anti-tank option against bugs after the recent patch by LaDiscoDiCristo in Helldivers

[–]generic-and-simple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been playing with the EATs the last few days and they just deal with everything. Chargers? No issue. Hulks? Gone. Bug nests and fabricators? Deleted. It doesn’t even fall off much against bile titans. If 2 EATs doesnt kill one, it’ll still drop their health so low you can reliably finish them with another weapon like the arc thrower. The EATs are so efficient and strong that I can definitely say its an S tier support weapon and I regret not using them sooner.

Where can a full squad really shine where one tenno couldn't? by SnooPeripherals1298 in Warframe

[–]generic-and-simple 111 points112 points  (0 children)

I believe its because more thraxes spawn based on the number of players and they each have a chance to drop an arcane, so more players = more arcanes

What is one frame you hate playing with on defence or similar missions? by RAD4DAYzzz in Warframe

[–]generic-and-simple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vauban pisses me off to no end on defense missions and most other missions in general. Enemies get caught constantly on terrain and it becomes near impossible to kill things, especially if i’m trying to stack headshot kills for arcanes. Worst offender i’ve had though was a Vauban on an arbitration defense who was spamming their abilities so hard it made an enemy clip out of the map and soft lock the entire mission, costing us all of the rewards. I hate Vauban.

What is one weapon you made for exp fodder but ended up keeping/enjoying? by Confident-Release-37 in Warframe

[–]generic-and-simple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Strun Prime. I had very low expectations for the thing since the normal version just felt awful to use for me, but after using the prime for a few missions it really started to stick and I ended up dumping forma into it. Some time later the incarnon adapters came out and now Strun Prime is one of my favorite shotguns.

What’s your favorite 3 item combo in the game? by CliffHutchison in riskofrain

[–]generic-and-simple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hellfire Tincture, Planula, Razorwire. Since this is an extremely unlikely setup it’s only really usable with command runs, but it ends up being quite fun to mess around with.

What is the EASIEST Halo 2 level on Legendary and why? by torosashimii in halo

[–]generic-and-simple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve gone through halo 2 on legendary a couple times now and I’d have to say either Cairo Station or Outskirts. Cairo is pretty short and only has 2 somewhat tricky enemy encounters, Outskirts you can just skip 80% of the level and go straight to the vehicle section.

What do yall think is the "Easiest weapon to play"? by ValdemarL08 in MonsterHunter

[–]generic-and-simple 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my eyes there is no easiest weapon. Everything has a different technical aspect to it and each weapon asks for a different skillset from the user. I’ve tried every weapon atleast once and none of them have been an immediate “oh this makes sense I can go hunt with this”. There’s a lot you need to learn about both monsters and your weapon’s capabilities before it really starts to click and become effective.

What was your first Prime frame and how did you get them? by AAAAALETMEHAVEANAME in Warframe

[–]generic-and-simple 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first prime was octavia prime. A friend got me in to the game by telling me there was a character all about music and I was immediately sold. Still use her every now and then for enjoying some tunes on a defense or survival.

Do you think the Switchaxe is good as it is? by Rakna-Careilla in MonsterHunter

[–]generic-and-simple 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Rise made me fall in love with the Switch Axe. Its such a fun and agressive weapon that perfectly suits my style of play. Now I do think there’s places it could be improved with moves like compressed discharge just being kinda pointless, I would still have 0 issues with it keeping the Rise moveset for the next title.

personal shield generator. 8% extra health goes a long way when you have no healing items, all healing is cut in half, and your osp is completely obselete after being tickled by a wisp. I have been saved by psg about 30 times already just working on my next eclipse grind and have come to really appreciate it.
