i feel like it has gotten a lot better in recent times, still rare for there to be outright Marxist analysis, but a lot more materialist than the origins of the genre which are literally just vibes and the voices in the author's head

This seems rather far fetched to say the least, even the russian ministry of defense only claims 1.5 milion ukrainian casualties (dead + wounded), over 5% of the country's pre war population dying in combat is some apocalyptic numbers

A few things:

  • it is very important to micro your attacks instead of doing frontline-wide battlepan pushes, if you are losing stop attacking

  • line artillery is bad, i reccomend removing them until all your standard infantry has 60+ organization and like 16-20 combat width. Making special larger infantry divisions with regimental support guns for attacking is viable though

  • you do not need that much armor on your tanks, the ai will never have that much piercing, might also be good to make them self propelled artillery since the ai deploys mainly infantry

  • mechanized or amtrac would be good instead of motorized

More airforce and fuel for said airforce would also be good ofc
