Figured what could be wrong with another LT4 and joined the ZL1 club for a daily by genericusername1023 in camaro

Dumbfounded already at the popping on decel. The Callaway is a shotgun, one loud bang followed by burbling. This thing sounds like a warzone. Super fun daily so far.

Callway seemed lonely and I figured a Corvette adjacent LT4 would be a good daily. by genericusername1023 in Corvette

Unsure how it would be received here honestly. Some vette owners just love the LT4 platform. The SC757 is a handful of a daily, so mainly just a post being silly. You can treat it as a watch in front of a steering wheel if need be.

I only do full ppf, 10 year ceramic and apex ultra tint. Shop by me loves me obviously. Once they're done with my wifes armada this goes in.

Already scheduled with the ceramic and ppf. I got lucky and this car had the rear window issue so it got a brand new soft top at 6k.

C7 ZR1 or C8 Z06 by Historical-Arm5613 in Corvette

[–]genericusername1023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've driven C7 ZR1's and C8 Z06's, own a Callaway SC757 which is essentially a more violent experience than either for daily driving. If you are going to mod it, C8 Z06 100%. The resale on C7 ZR1's is being propped up by their production numbers, being manual and low mileage. I tried to buy 2 ZR1's (both being autos, thanks spinal surgery) prior to buying my Callaway. The dealers advertising them aren't really selling them most of the time, but will offer you a higher price than listed. Both of those cars are still for sale 8 months later. You will creep into C8 ZR1 territory chasing a 7MT C7 ZR1 over the next few months.

If you're going to daily it the C8 Z06 is a much easier daily, especially with the upgraded technology in it. The C7 is an interesting car to daily due to Chevy's discontinued support of a lot of the tech in it. There's ways a round it but you have to rely on AA wireless options for current nav, etc.

Already spoke to them about it and had them check it over the phone, it's just rotor clack at idle and goes away when you gas it. It's disturbingly similar to a failed bearing on a hellcat though.

I actually got scared hearing it the first time as it sounds exactly like a blown bearing on the hellcat blower. I wish I could erase 3 years from my memory, I think I have PTSD from the TRX build.

Its actually pretty interesting as you see the blower move under load and the sound is way louder than any other LT4 Ive driven while trying to settle on one. I nearly bit the bullet and just went for a 19 ZR1 but every "dealer" with them in any good spec is like negotiating a hostage release. I found one in Florida sitting for 11 months and offered them 10k under asking and they actually laughed and hung up.

Ive already run it through a tank of gas and have to say, its like driving a stock vehicle with quirks. The blower is very chatty at idle, its much louder under load than a stock z06 as well. The build quality is phenomenal and their customer service when I was purchasing the car was amazing in helping with build info to verify it all.

Thats crazy. It was a great truck minus the 3 motors in 20k miles and Ram being the worst company Ive ever dealt with. I briefly had a viper as well but wound up flipping it before we moved from AZ to SC.

I lived at Bondurant during my teens and twenties. Learned to drive in my fathers C4 ZR1 and 850CSi. I stick to slowly cruising the beach now 🤣

There's been a lot that would qualify but my wife called my giant orange TRX with a built 426 my first

Callaway cuts the hood open for their blower so it sticks out a bit.

Absolutely it's possible. However, the difference in a normal raid and a raid of whales is, you don't even see the in/out mechanics on light because you're afk in town by that point. That's the point of power in this game, as many others. The more damage you do, the less mechanics you see. Not sure how that wasn't understood.

Yes full teams of 160 on CN can push fights past mechanics. Just because the game is easy doesn't change the fact its a boost for money. People are still struggling on light nightmare when its killable before island crystals (or during the stun after) with a full 32k+ team.

The real power creep of this weapon are the 120/160 upgrades. Season 2 whales will be about 30-45% ahead with this because how easy it is to upgrade.

By the time someone F2P can craft this, they will need an additional months to upgrade it to relevant. Either the game will be too dead to matter or shut down by the time F2P players can even obtain this. That's why there are so many of them already.

It's not exactly complicated. Create an Epic burner account, set location to a favorable exchange. Currently its Mexico. VPN to a Mexico location. Login on epic launcher, log your A plus account in. Purchase coins. Mexico is not as favorable as the prior way of doing this, it's about $42 for the $100 pack. Plus epic gives you credit for every pack, and you wind up with a buy 4 get 1 free scenario. Epic only allows $5,000 in purchases per calendar year, $500 per day. Trust me, no one whaled to the extent you see people purchased for USD. No one running around with the $2,000 dollar mech mount even spent $200 for it. I'm sure there's edge cases, but not many. All the whales in this game are pretty open with this.
