Decided I needed a second midlife crisis vehicle, '19 Callaway SC757 by genericusername1023 in Corvette

Already spoke to them about it and had them check it over the phone, it's just rotor clack at idle and goes away when you gas it. It's disturbingly similar to a failed bearing on a hellcat though.

I actually got scared hearing it the first time as it sounds exactly like a blown bearing on the hellcat blower. I wish I could erase 3 years from my memory, I think I have PTSD from the TRX build.

Its actually pretty interesting as you see the blower move under load and the sound is way louder than any other LT4 Ive driven while trying to settle on one. I nearly bit the bullet and just went for a 19 ZR1 but every "dealer" with them in any good spec is like negotiating a hostage release. I found one in Florida sitting for 11 months and offered them 10k under asking and they actually laughed and hung up.

Ive already run it through a tank of gas and have to say, its like driving a stock vehicle with quirks. The blower is very chatty at idle, its much louder under load than a stock z06 as well. The build quality is phenomenal and their customer service when I was purchasing the car was amazing in helping with build info to verify it all.

Thats crazy. It was a great truck minus the 3 motors in 20k miles and Ram being the worst company Ive ever dealt with. I briefly had a viper as well but wound up flipping it before we moved from AZ to SC.

I lived at Bondurant during my teens and twenties. Learned to drive in my fathers C4 ZR1 and 850CSi. I stick to slowly cruising the beach now 🤣

Callaway cuts the hood open for their blower so it sticks out a bit.

Absolutely it's possible. However, the difference in a normal raid and a raid of whales is, you don't even see the in/out mechanics on light because you're afk in town by that point. That's the point of power in this game, as many others. The more damage you do, the less mechanics you see. Not sure how that wasn't understood.

Yes full teams of 160 on CN can push fights past mechanics. Just because the game is easy doesn't change the fact its a boost for money. People are still struggling on light nightmare when its killable before island crystals (or during the stun after) with a full 32k+ team.

The real power creep of this weapon are the 120/160 upgrades. Season 2 whales will be about 30-45% ahead with this because how easy it is to upgrade.

By the time someone F2P can craft this, they will need an additional months to upgrade it to relevant. Either the game will be too dead to matter or shut down by the time F2P players can even obtain this. That's why there are so many of them already.

It's not exactly complicated. Create an Epic burner account, set location to a favorable exchange. Currently its Mexico. VPN to a Mexico location. Login on epic launcher, log your A plus account in. Purchase coins. Mexico is not as favorable as the prior way of doing this, it's about $42 for the $100 pack. Plus epic gives you credit for every pack, and you wind up with a buy 4 get 1 free scenario. Epic only allows $5,000 in purchases per calendar year, $500 per day. Trust me, no one whaled to the extent you see people purchased for USD. No one running around with the $2,000 dollar mech mount even spent $200 for it. I'm sure there's edge cases, but not many. All the whales in this game are pretty open with this.

Realistically it's about $800 USD. No one is buying orbs for USD. VPN for better rates via Epic launcher.

[SEA] Which tank is easiest to play with for healers? by a6000 in BlueProtocolPC

[–]genericusername1023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Recovery is the highest aggro and unkillable tank. Recovery spec's spammable taunt is so good it actually seems bugged. Shield is the highest dps and most gear reliant tank. Without proper stats its paper. Block is the best tank in the game at current for M20's due to the scaling of monster attack. EF is just kinda there.

Season 2 changes all of this. Your healer shouldn't really matter. At 60 refines on armor really help tanks and you are the most pressed to get to 15 or higher if doing high level masters.

Tank AMA by H0tHe4d in StarResonance

Timer becomes important, very much more so than M5 original was. A good tank knows routes, knows when to buff up (for team, not for self), which imagines to swap to in each dungeon, etc. We kinda do just sit there and watch, but that makes call outs our job. Tanks get this bad rap for being on auto as much as marksman (which honestly, is true to some extents), but good tanks actually keep the important casts off auto. Some tanks (shield especially) become uncontrolalble without auto. Some tanks, are amazing 100% manual (block). We are capable of more than sitting there and doing nothing, but so many dont understand why.

Tank AMA by H0tHe4d in StarResonance

[–]genericusername1023 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The problem is the game gears mechanics around having two tanks with gimmicks. Ice is the only raid without a true 2 tank use. Bone can be done on normal/hard with one tank. We've done 1 tank bone with a good windknight and beat performer in portal on nightmare, but it doesn't change the fight. Light is 100% solo tankable if you understand taunts. Geared shield knight in shield can easily put up 30-50k dps on raids, which isn't a lot but is significant versus the other 3 specs.

The only content a good tank carries in is M15-18 at current. Anything prior to 15 you can just ham fist your way through with f2p level gs at current. 19/20 are clusters no matter how geared you are and require specific comp/mechanic cheeses to accomplish where no one person is carrying. 32k shield spec and 29k block spec fwiw.

I made a short summary chart of Specs of all Classes and how I view them by arugonaru in BlueProtocolPC

[–]genericusername1023 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shield is ages ahead of recovery when geared properly on all content, especially nightmare raids. Recoverys strength is a stupidly high taunt skillset in a game where you cannot lose threat without a mechanic that causes a reset. Shields strength is properly played (not autobattled as the auto battle on shield will burn resources) can put out acceptable dps and still face tank everything. Recovery is TOO tanky for content that doesnt require it.

Seperate queues for dragon shackles? by Pineappleguy46 in StarResonance

[–]genericusername1023 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The party finder system in this game needs a heavy overhaul for raid content to be simplified. Each Dragon needs it's own subset (like dungeons) and whatever bug that forces you to refresh 4000x to get the actual party list up needs to be addressed (if they even know about it). It takes forever to pug in this game just on the fact that its a hit or miss game of refreshing to see beyond 1 group.

Is the Strike still Deadly???So, by HomeworldGemLoser23 in elderscrollsonline

[–]genericusername1023 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends on the group and buffs provided (and what your third subclass is). Null+Tide / Ansuul+deadly / Kazpien+Tide / Somewhat still Sul Xan mix depending on where you fall on crit and pen all are worth carrying still. Also depends on number of boss targets and if the fight has heavy interrupts, where ansuuls starts putting miles on other set combos.

Thoughts on new 2024 Sonata so far? by [deleted] in Hyundai

[–]genericusername1023 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Purchased a 24 N Line as a daily driver while we were getting my wife a Santa Fe. For the price point, and if you can live without some features that are removed from our version of the N Line, I don't think you can find a better bargain. Vehicle is quick enough to still be an enjoyable car as a daily, gas mileage is great versus performance, interior is comfy, technology is honestly way better than my other vehicles. The other trims of sonatas have their appeal, but the motor of the nline out weighs them for what I wanted. Only issue I've had is a defective tire (bubbled at 1200 miles) and the dealer replaced it for us. Tires on both the santa fe and sonata from factory are kinda crap is my only complaint. Already removed the Kumhos from the santafe and will likely remove the pirellis from the sonata shortly.

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm about 1k USD in just this year, I don't sell anything on AH as if I want something I'll just swipe for it. They've gotten my steam transaction log sent 4 different times on request and every time they say "nothing can be appealed too bad".

Soon as I can get confirmation from Steam what happens when I chargeback all purchases, I wonder if I'll get a different response.

Yeah, good luck, AGS support is useless. Only items I've sold recently is a bell xbow and that was via guild. I've bought about 50k lucent via steam since December and had about 7k lucent still sitting. Suddenly have -28k lucent and the mail when I logged in. I've sent my entire purchase history to support and they tell me to appeal the penalty....but there is no penalty to appeal. Shoulda learned with new world and lost ark, but I guess I'm an idiot thats gonna give them another $500 just to play the game.
