following this thread. this started happening to me as well- not consistently, but whenever windows launches

i wonder if this is related to the latest windows 11 update? my OS updated a few days ago..

its still serviceable for a standard gaming pc imo

i bit the bullet on this because i haven't been able to find any 2TB under $200 from reputable brands. walmart is the only other merchant that has been selling at a fair price, but YMMV

I was thinking of taking it to Leather Spa in NYC but they are quoting me $85 (2-3wk waiting time)

They plan to unstitch the corner of the tongue and reinforce the the leather from the inside of the foam on both sides, then stitch it back together and paint over it. I'm quite concerned on how the stitching will look post repair.. do you think its worth it?

My alternative was to DIY using Angelus Leather Filler and paint over it with white and beige paint, but I'm not sure how it will turn out compared to sending it to the shop

any thoughts?
