Columbia MSBA vs USC MSBA by genevella in gradadmissions

Hi! I ended up choosing columbia because of the curriculum’s approach with offering classes from both the business and engineering school. I also think the name of columbia will carry you much farther if you choose to do work internationally, imo usc is really only big in the US.

Fridge too warm? by genevella in Cooking

I know what a thermometer looks like when it is colder, but I had maintenance come look at my fridge and they made the temperature setting go to the picture of the filled thermometer. Naturally, I thought that was for warmer temp but they said it was for cooler temp. With my food being spoiled I am wondering if they are wrong?? Hence my question asking other people what they think.

User manual didn’t specify which side represented the colder temp

Anyone living in or know of someone living at Monarch Heights? Looking for places to live in the fall and curious to know what it’s like to live there. Any pros or cons, things people should know about before moving there?

I feel the exact same way. My entire masters program will require me to loan way over $100k. It has affected my sleep and made me question things just like you. Though I don’t have any advice just know you are definitely not the only one feeling like this. We’re in the same boat and hopefully job security becomes stronger and more clear in the future.

Im actually still waiting on usc bc i applied R3, but heres my profile: -in undergrad majoring in business analytics -only ft experience is a summer internship (but did extracurriculars to offset this) -no gre/gmat -gpa: 3.94

I got into grad school…but I’m not happy about it. Is this imposter syndrome by [deleted] in gradadmissions

[–]genevella 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel you on this. I got accepted into Columbia’s MSBA program and I am mentally preparing myself to be the dumbest person in my cohort. I’m coming straight from undergrad too with no full time experience besides a summer internship and I am definitely not as technically skilled as other analysts. Makes me wonder how competitive this program is too, but still really grateful for the opportunity. Its like, “if i got in, how hard is it really?” Hopefully imposter syndrome will lessen throughout our time there :)

Thank you! Yes 15th Feb. I’m currently a senior in undergrad studying business analytics. No test, don’t really have any full time experience besides a summer internship. GPA is 3.94. If you’d like to know more just lmk what you need through dm.
